The MICROMASTER 440 is specially designed for applications that require a wider range of functions and higher dynamic response than usual. These vector control systems ensure consistently high drive performance, even with sudden load changes. With fast-response inputs and positioning deceleration ramps, it is possible to move to the target position even without the use of an encoder. The frequency converter has an integrated brake chopper, which operates with outstanding precision even during braking and short deceleration ramps. All of this is available in the power range from 0.12 kW (0.16 HP) up to 250 kW (350 HP).
