After graduating in 1993 from the Marketing program at Guangdong Provincial Supply and Marketing School, I joined Foshan Jiaxi Garment Factory, where I began working in sales.
Throughout nearly a decade in the industry, he has deeply understood the profound meaning behind the saying, "Love what you do." He knows that only by genuinely loving your work, dedicating yourself wholeheartedly, and continuously honing your professional skills can you truly earn your clients' trust and deliver real value to them. He firmly believes that every product holds countless hidden details and untapped potential—details that can only be unlocked through thorough research and exploration. At the same time, he also recognizes that each client is unique; it’s only by carefully listening and empathetically grasping their specific needs that you can provide services that perfectly align with their expectations.
To continuously improve himself, he has always remained committed to reading and learning, constantly broadening his knowledge base and enhancing his professional expertise. At the same time, he actively seeks guidance and support from outstanding individuals across various industries—people whose experience and wisdom not only fuel his personal growth but also inspire deeper reflections on life itself.
However, during this process, he also experienced much inner struggle and confusion. Especially when he was faced with the decision to change careers, he knew that for most people, this would be a risky move—particularly for someone like him, who carries significant family responsibilities. Without sufficient savings, switching careers would mean taking on enormous risks.
After about six months of careful reflection, he finally chose to follow his heart, bravely stepping out to explore the wider world. He understood that only by boldly embracing the unknown could he uncover even more of life's beauty. Though this decision was undoubtedly challenging, he firmly believed that it was the only way to truly fulfill his dreams and build a better future for his family.
In 2004, he took a bold new step in his career by joining Charoen Pokphand Electromechanical. This transition not only marked a leap across industries and product categories but also meant he had to start learning almost from scratch. Although his base salary was slightly lower compared to what he’d earned before, he felt he had no room for retreat—only the determination to give it his all and strive for success. The company’s regular meetings and abundant learning resources kept him busy every day, and even during his evenings on weekdays and weekends, he often immersed himself in work and study. He deeply understood that without hard work, there’s no wealth in this world. As a newcomer to the field, he knew full well that he’d need to put in far more effort than others if he hoped to stand out in the fiercely competitive landscape.
At first, he fought single-handedly, but thanks to his outstanding performance, he was given the invaluable opportunity to establish and lead a department. To meet the company’s growing needs, he proactively took on the critical responsibility of pioneering Siemens Motor’s business operations. Through relentless dedication, during the 2008 divisional restructuring, he successfully transformed the Siemens Motor business into an independent product-line division operating under the Amoeba Management Model, complete with its own financial accountability system. In the years that followed, he led the Siemens Motor Division to remarkable success, consistently pushing boundaries and setting new industry records. By 2021, under his visionary leadership, the team achieved the extraordinary milestone of surpassing 100 million euros in total orders for Siemens & Beid Motor products, propelling the company into the esteemed ranks of "Siemens DI MC LVM Yiyinge Distributor." Moreover, in 2023, his dedicated team not only earned the prestigious Yiyinge Award but also received both the LVM Best Contribution Award and the Long-Term Partnership Award, cementing their reputation as industry leaders.
During this period, he actively supported the company's strategic decisions and bravely stepped out of his comfort zone. Not only did he invest in and help develop white-market territories in nearly 10 regions, including Wuxi, Jinan, Henan, Wuhan, Changsha, Nengda, Dongguan, Guangxi, and Fujian—but starting in 2016, he also began exploring foreign trade opportunities (the precursor to Foshan XinYi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd.), paving the way for the company to tap into international markets. Furthermore, in 2018, he courageously took over the domestic motor product line and established Guangdong Mingchen Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., injecting fresh momentum into the company's strategy of differentiation and growth.
The growth of our business and the expansion into new regions require a steady infusion of fresh talent, while also providing young professionals with invaluable opportunities for development and advancement. Since taking charge of Siemens motor sales in 2007, he has been constantly pondering: How can we attract the right people? How can we rapidly nurture their skills? How do we build a team that is not only creative but also cohesive and united? And how can we cultivate outstanding mid-level managers?
To attract the right candidates, he not only focuses on their professional skills and experience but places even greater emphasis on whether their potential and values align with the team. He understands that a stellar team is made up of like-minded individuals who share a common goal and are committed to working together toward it.
To quickly onboard new team members, he employed a variety of approaches. First, he used his days off to gather everyone at his home, personally preparing meals and creating a relaxed, enjoyable environment for meaningful interaction. This not only gave employees the chance to get to know each other more deeply but also allowed them to share insights about both their work and personal lives in a casual setting. Second, starting from 2013, he has annually organized trips outside the province for employees and their families halfway through each year’s tasks. These outings not only help staff unwind and broaden their horizons but also strengthen teamwork and foster a stronger sense of unity during the journey. In addition, he often chooses locations where the company has branch offices for gatherings and exchanges, enabling employees to gain a better understanding of the company’s overall operations while encouraging them to contribute ideas for the growth and development of these branches.
He has poured tremendous effort into developing mid-level managers. He understands that these managers are the backbone of the company’s growth, and their capabilities and qualities directly influence the organization’s overall operational effectiveness. That’s why he not only distills, summarizes, organizes, and shares his own insights on business development and management—but also encourages them to step out and engage in learning and exchanges at a steady pace, tailored to their individual progress. After all, he believes that only through continuous learning and improvement can they effectively meet the challenges ahead.
Currently, his team has grown to 70 members, with shareholders holding a significant 33% stake. Meanwhile, the team has nurtured and recruited over 30 outstanding mid-to-senior-level managers for the company. Notably, 20 of these individuals can even be recognized in the 2017 team photo—faces we’re all familiar with. He not only helped them get started but also provided crucial support along the way, guiding them through the challenging transition period as they stepped into new roles and successfully took over leadership responsibilities. At the core of this dynamic team are these key members, strategically positioned across various regions of the company. Together, they’ve established a robust safeguard for the long-term growth of the company’s motor business—and laid a solid foundation for its future success.
