Teamwork and Embracing Change—Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. 2012 First-Half Financial Work Summary Meeting

On August 18-19, the 2012 First-Half Financial Work Summary Meeting of Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd. was held in the conference room of Building No. 2 on “Huazhou Island” in Shunde. Surrounded by water on all sides, Huazhou Island is far from the hustle and bustle of the city. With its melodious birdsong, fragrant flowers, and picturesque scenery reminiscent of a poetic landscape, the island gives visitors the feeling of being in a “hidden paradise.”
At 2:00 p.m. on the 18th, the meeting officially began, chaired by Li Junli, Deputy Manager of Finance at the Supporting Company. Attending the meeting were Gao Feng, CFO of Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd., along with a total of 36 financial personnel from all regions in Guangdong under Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd. Ni Xuefeng, CFO of the Supporting Company, delivered a comprehensive and insightful analysis and summary of the company’s financial work for the first half of the year. While the finance department achieved certain accomplishments in the first half, it also revealed several issues. In response to these issues, Director Ni provided detailed instructions for the finance department’s work in the second half of the year.
During the conference, we were honored to have Lin Yi, General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Company, join the discussion on relevant issues. Addressing the current sluggish economic situation, General Manager Lin shared with the attendees the company’s development strategy for the next five years—a grand and ambitious plan that greatly boosted the participants’ confidence and conviction, bringing the first day of the conference to a thrilling climax.
At 9 a.m. on the 19th, Gao Feng, Group Chief Financial Officer, delivered a keynote speech titled “Teamwork and Embracing Change.” In his speech, he provided an in-depth analysis of the current challenges facing financial work and outlined specific plans for financial operations in the second half of 2012 to address these issues. Attendees actively engaged in discussions following the speeches by several leaders, gaining a deeper understanding of how future financial efforts can support the company’s strategic development. They also engaged in both constructive criticism and self-criticism regarding existing problems. The entire meeting was both intense and well-organized. Through this meeting, everyone reached a consensus and gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of teamwork. The conference was a complete success.
