Welcome the New Year, Celebrate the New Year
As the New Year dawns, everything is renewed. On the eighth day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Snake (February 5, 2025), Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. officially resumed work. To welcome the arrival of the new year, the company held a series of live-streamed Spring Festival gatherings that morning, extending New Year greetings to all colleagues and wishing them a prosperous and auspicious start to the new year. The event was divided into two halves and was broadcast entirely via livestream, combining offline and online formats to send New Year’s greetings and well wishes to colleagues at branch offices across the country.
01 First Half
At 8:00 a.m., the directors and general managers of all departments gathered in front of the main entrance on the first floor of the company to jointly hand out “kai men li si”—lucky money—to their colleagues as they arrived one after another. Distributing “kai men li si” on the first day of work has long been a company tradition, symbolizing a fresh start and inspiring employees to embrace the spirit of “like bamboo breaking through the ground—only I can be the snake!” and strive for an exciting and fulfilling year ahead. The scene was exceptionally lively, and colleagues watching the live stream online also enthusiastically sent New Year’s greetings via bullet comments.

At 8:28, all colleagues gathered on the 10th floor to kick off the first morning training session of the New Year. Colleagues from the branch offices outside also joined via live stream, sharing in the lively atmosphere of the headquarters’ morning training. Lian Canhuan, Director and Deputy General Manager of ZeroOne, delivered a New Year’s speech, encouraging everyone to muster up their energy and keep improving in the coming year. Next came the most exciting part—the red envelope grab! General Manager Lian, accompanied by heads of various departments, distributed red envelopes to everyone. The atmosphere instantly lit up, with everyone bursting into laughter and heartfelt wishes for each other, collectively wishing everyone an auspicious start to the year and good fortune in the Year of the Snake.

At 8:45, the tour to wish everyone a Happy New Year and extend blessings began. Our colleagues took the lead in heading to the office of Wang Zhenghu, President of CPMEC, to offer their New Year greetings and best wishes. In return, President Wang extended his own heartfelt New Year blessings to the employees, personally creating a WeChat group and distributing red envelopes to everyone. Following President Wang’s lead, the “New Year Greeting Team” made its way through each floor, offering New Year greetings, handing out red envelopes, and spreading good wishes. Throughout the visit, lively and enthusiastic cheers of well-wishes kept echoing from one floor to another. Colleagues unanimously expressed that, on this first day back to work, such a meaningful ceremony allowed them to deeply feel the vibrant New Year atmosphere and receive the care and warmth from the entire CPMEC family.

02 Second Half
Time flies, and the years keep turning. With steady and determined strides, we’ve joined hands to step through the threshold of the New Year 2025. At 9:20, accompanied by the host’s opening remarks and enthusiastic applause from the attendees, the second half of the 2025 Spring Festival Gala officially began. Leaders from the Foshan headquarters once again gathered together in the main venue on the 4th floor, while branch offices outside also participated online via live stream, sharing joyfully their favorite stories and insights from the Spring Festival period.

First, Lin Yi, Director and General Manager of Zero One, delivered a warm New Year’s greeting to all employees via video. In his speech, Mr. Lin shared some of the activities he personally participated in during the Spring Festival, and together with everyone, he looked back on the past year’s challenges and triumphs, while also looking forward to an even brighter future and offering heartfelt wishes. At the same time, he expressed his hope that, in the coming year, all colleagues, when facing uncertainty, will be more courageous than ever in seizing opportunities, remain firmly customer-centric, put those who strive hard at the heart of everything we do, persevere through long-term, arduous efforts, consistently engage in self-criticism, and strive for development within a framework of stability—and seek stability through development!
Subsequently, the representatives present at the scene also took turns speaking, sharing their observations, experiences, reflections, and insights from the Spring Festival period. Everyone was eager to observe, delighted to ponder, and enthusiastic about sharing the fascinating and memorable moments they had encountered during the Spring Festival activities. They drew valuable lessons and profound insights from these experiences, inspiring others to celebrate the Spring Festival in ways that are more beneficial to both body and mind.
Next, President Wang delivered a New Year’s address. First, President Wang reflected on his fulfilling activities during the Spring Festival—running, watching movies, reading, and more—and shared his habit of consistently revisiting classic books. He emphasized that everyone should frequently review the company’s employee handbook as well as the company-recommended classic books, finding in them answers to both professional and personal challenges. He urged everyone to maintain their passion for their work, their love for customers, and their enthusiasm for the sales industry; continuously enhance their professional skills; establish standardized, professional processes and systems; seize and serve high-quality customers effectively; and always put the customer at the center, prioritize those who strive hard, engage in long-term, arduous efforts, and remain committed to self-criticism as guiding principles!
Finally, we connected live with our colleagues from various branches to hear their stories from the Spring Festival period, learn about the diverse local customs surrounding the Chinese New Year, and together experience the rich and colorful culture of China’s Spring Festival. Although we’re physically apart, we can still feel the festive atmosphere from each branch and sense the fresh, energetic spirit of our colleagues. As we embark on the new year, Zhengda will surely remain united—keeping our hearts aligned and pooling our efforts together. We’ll give it our all, face challenges head-on, bravely scale new heights, and create even greater achievements!
