Sunshine Saves Hearts, Happiness Walks Together —— Annual Report and Charity Gala of the 9th Service Team of Guangdong Provincial Red Cross Entrepreneur Members

On August 26, 2012, Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electrical (Group) Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the annual summary and report meeting of the Guangdong Red Cross Society’s Entrepreneurial Members’ General Corps. The event, which included the 9th Anniversary Report and Charity Gala of the Guangdong Red Cross Society’s Entrepreneurial Members’ Service Corps, brought together over 1,000 participants, including representatives from more than 300 enterprises, caring members of the public, and volunteers. Mr. Tang Yunliang, Manager of our company’s Human Resources Department, and I personally attended the gala. The charity gala was held in the Marriott Ballroom on the fourth floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foshan.
At the charity gala held by the Guangdong Provincial Red Cross Society’s Entrepreneurial Members’ Corps, a summary and review of the Ninth Service Team’s activities over the past year were presented. The team received donations from a total of 366 individuals, amounting to 4.046 million yuan. These funds were successfully used to treat more than 100 cases of congenital heart disease—each successful treatment has effectively brought relief to over 100 families, vividly demonstrating how benefactors and philanthropists from all sectors in Foshan have spread the power of love through the Ninth Service Team. The charity auction at the gala was the highlight of the event. Guests enthusiastically raised their bidding cards to participate in the auction of art pieces, ultimately raising an impressive 4.452 million yuan in charitable donations! The auction continued until 10:30 p.m., and among the more than 1,000 guests and volunteers present, almost no one left early, fully reflecting the kindness and strong support of the people of Foshan for public welfare causes!
During this heartwarming gala, I was deeply touched by the countless acts of kindness and compassion. At the same time, I was truly impressed by the strong support that company leaders have shown toward public welfare initiatives. Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electrical (Group) Co., Ltd. has once again secured a remarkable artwork titled “Keeping Pace with the Times” in the third round of bidding! The company’s commitment to public welfare is precisely an embodiment of its corporate ethos—a spirit of giving back to society that is deeply rooted in our company culture!
