Welcoming the Spring Festival, Offering New Year Greetings, and Celebrating the Start of Work—Zhengda Machinery & Electronics’ 2022 Spring Festival Gala Achieves Complete Success Both Online and Offline!

Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. officially resumed work on the seventh day of the first lunar month of the Year of Renyin Tiger (February 7, 2022). To welcome the arrival of the new year, the company held a series of live-streamed New Year gatherings that morning. The event is divided into a first half and a second half, and will be live-streamed throughout. For the first time, we’re celebrating the New Year with colleagues from branches across the country using a brand-new hybrid online-and-offline approach.
First half
At 7:30 a.m., the general managers of all departments gathered in front of the main entrance on the first floor of the company to hand out “kai men li shi”—lucky money—to their colleagues as they arrived one after another. “Kai men li shi” is a traditional custom practiced in regions such as Guangdong and Hong Kong. The “li shi,” also known as “li si” or “li shi,” is given on the day when employees resume work after the Spring Festival. On this occasion, all employees offer New Year’s greetings to their supervisors, who in turn present red envelopes—known as “hong bao”—to their staff as a gesture of encouragement for the coming year and as a sign of good fortune. As employees receive these red envelopes personally handed out by their respective departmental general managers, they can be assured that the coming year will bring great luck, abundant wealth, and continuous good fortune!

At 7:58, the first morning training session of the New Year was kicked off on the 10th floor. Although the weather was rather cold, it didn't dampen everyone's enthusiasm in the slightest; all employees greeted the first working day with their utmost energy and spirits. The live-streaming format enabled colleagues at branch offices to fully experience the vibrant atmosphere of the morning training session held at the Foshan headquarters. Lin Yi, General Manager of Lingyi Industrial (hereinafter referred to as “General Manager Lin”), also extended New Year greetings to everyone and led the general managers of various subordinate units in handing out New Year red envelopes. Everyone was immersed in the joy of grabbing these lucky red envelopes.

At 8:15, President Wang Zhenghu of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “President Wang”) led several senior executives and colleagues on a tour of the company’s various floors, offering New Year greetings, handing out red envelopes, and extending best wishes to everyone. At the first stop, everyone spontaneously headed straight to President Wang’s office. With great enthusiasm, President Wang shared with his colleagues the stories behind the photo wall as well as some unforgettable experiences. A lively and festive New Year atmosphere permeated every corner of the company, and colleagues enthusiastically remarked that they had truly felt the company’s rich New Year spirit and the warmth of the Zhengda family.

Second half
Looking back on 2021, we’ve overcome countless obstacles and sailed bravely through rough waters, achieving continuous new breakthroughs in our performance! As we set sail into 2022, it’s sure to be a year of even greater advancement!
At 8:50, the host took to the stage to open the event, warmly welcoming all the leaders and colleagues both present in person and joining online. Then, amid enthusiastic applause from the entire audience, the host officially announced the start of the 2022 Spring Festival Gala.

First, General Lin delivered a speech to all employees, during which he led everyone in reviewing the past year’s challenges and achievements, looked forward to an even grander future, and extended his best wishes.
Looking back on 2021 Scenery Then, let’s turn our attention back to the Spring Festival holiday we’ve just enjoyed. The delegates present at the scene eagerly took the floor, sharing their experiences, observations, reflections, and insights from the Spring Festival period. This prompted everyone to marvel: as long as we’re willing to listen and eager to observe, life is actually full of fascinating and wonderful moments everywhere.

Following that, in his New Year’s message, President Wang pointed out that, amid the rapid economic growth and intensifying market competition in 2022, the company will further refine its management system. In the first half of the year, the company will focus on strengthening the structure of the finance department while placing equal emphasis on enhancing its organizational development capabilities. He also expressed a heartfelt wish: to persist in daily reading and learning and to consistently put the “369” culture into practice. In the limited time available, President Wang shared valuable insights with us as much as possible, leaving us greatly enriched and benefited.
In 2022, before we knew it, we had already been battling the pandemic for two years. Under the shadow of the epidemic, although our headquarters and all regional units were geographically distant, we’ve maintained a spirit of zero-distance communication in terms of ideas. Through live video links, we connected with colleagues from various branch offices and listened to the stories they experienced—or witnessed—during the Spring Festival. From Xi'an’s steamed flower buns and the Jiba Shehuo folk performances to Wuxi’s New Year tradition of “dusting off the eaves,” these diverse local customs allowed us to appreciate the rich and colorful tapestry of Chinese Spring Festival culture.
In addition to the joyful and interesting stories of the Spring Festival, many friends have paid tribute to the numerous medical workers who remained on duty or chose to celebrate the New Year where they were, all due to the pandemic. We’ve also been deeply moved by the recent triumph of the Chinese women’s football team as they once again claimed the Asian Cup title, as well as by the awe-inspiring opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, which filled our nation with profound national pride. Recognizing our own strengths and being grateful for every little thing in life—this is what it means to be a truly positive and upright person.

Subsequently, President Wang and General Lin each led their teams to the Shunde branch office and the logistics center, respectively, to extend New Year greetings and best wishes to colleagues who were unable to attend the group celebration at the headquarters in person.
The Spring Festival gathering came to a successful close in a warm and joyful atmosphere. Coincidentally, it also marked the start of the work year, and the rain arrived punctually, never missing a beat. As the Cantonese saying goes, "Water represents wealth"—so this year is bound to be one of abundant prosperity, with fortunes flowing in like water rushing into a piggy bank! It’s sure to be a year when business thrives as vibrantly as spring itself and wealth pours in like an endless stream!
In 2022, we’re also about to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics. The best way to honor our journey so far is to write a new chapter of relentless striving! As we step into the new year, we’ll join hands once again to embark on a fresh starting point and a brand-new journey, together building another brilliant 25-year future. Let’s set off anew, race toward the future, and look forward together to an even brighter tomorrow for Zhengda Machinery & Electronics!
