    Talent Development—Thank You for Being Here: 2021 CPME Instructor Appreciation Event

    Thanks to you for your dedication to talent development. To express our gratitude for the hard work and selfless contributions of all our instructors in the company’s talent-development efforts, from November 28 to 29, we’ll be traveling together to the beautiful city of Huizhou, embarking on a special appreciation tour for our instructors in 2021.

     

    28 In the morning, a delegation of lecturers including Wang Zhenghu, founder and president of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd.; Lei Yuqiang, director of the Human Resources Department; Lian Canhuan, general manager of the Siemens Motor Division at Lingyi Industrial; and Shi Hao, general manager of Foshan Bearing Company, arrived. 20 People took a bus to the Luofu Mountain Scenic Area. We’d like to extend our special thanks to Wang Hailong, General Manager of Xi’an Zhengyi Long Company, and Wang Yijian, General Manager of Chengdu Nengda Company, who traveled long distances specifically to attend this event.

     

    Mount Luofu Renowned for its majestic and spectacular mountain scenery, lush evergreen vegetation, towering ancient forests, and otherworldly fairy caves and grottoes, this mountain is hailed as the progenitor of all the mountains in the Baiyue region. After entering the scenic area, everyone followed a path lined with towering ancient trees, visiting along the way the Ge Hong Museum, the Chongxu Ancient Temple, and the Memorial Hall of the Dongjiang Column. In this way, they not only marveled at the unique natural landscapes but also savored the rich cultural heritage, achieving a perfect blend of physical and spiritual fulfillment.

    There are three East River Column Memorial Halls across the country, located in Shenzhen, Huizhou, and Dongguan.     The memorial hall features an exhibition hall on the history of the Dongjiang Column, a monument honoring martyrs, the Zeng Sheng Relics Room, and the former site of the Qijin News Agency. ( Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Shenzhen City ) Zeng Sheng’s ancestral home ( Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit of Pingshan New Area ) These sections collectively showcase the arduous and extraordinary combat journey and remarkable achievements of the Dongjiang Column, the Two Guangs Column, and the Yue-Gan-Xiang Border Column during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the Liberation War, and their participation in the World Anti-Fascist War.

    In the afternoon 2:30 PM After arriving at the InterContinental Hotel, everyone visited and learned in small groups. Later, everyone gathered in the Zizhu Hall of the hotel’s Chinese restaurant for a unique and engaging exchange meeting.

     

    President Wang emphasized that a company’s development hinges on four core factors: people, business (business model), environment, and organization (structure and team). Therefore, talent development must reach a new level, and training efforts must adopt a global perspective. He also provided detailed answers to various questions and concerns raised by everyone. From the way speakers expressed themselves to their perspectives and depth of insight on various issues—ranging from child-rearing challenges and corporate development strategies to interpretations of emerging trends—participants generally reported gaining substantial insights, and the response at the event was overwhelmingly enthusiastic. This exchange has elevated the entire event to a new level, making it even more meaningful.

    29 In the morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, everyone had some precious leisure time: some people went fishing, others swam, and still others took a stroll—adding a delightful touch to their otherwise hectic workdays.

    Afterward, the group visited the China Overseas Hot Spring Hotel. On one hand, they were amazed by the hotel’s innovative and unique design; on the other hand, they were deeply impressed by the hotel’s meticulous attention to detail and its thoughtful, dedicated service. In fact, no matter what you do, as long as you put your heart into it and strive for perfection, you won’t only touch others—you’ll also touch yourself.

     

    After the tour of the Tangquan Hotel, the instructor representatives at the non-general manager level returned to Foshan by bus; meanwhile, the general manager-level staff continued their brainstorming session at Zhonghai Tangquan, engaging in in-depth exchanges. As for the instructors who were unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, each of them received a gift as a token of our gratitude!

    “Learning—from childhood to old age.” The building of a learning organization and the transmission of corporate culture both rely on the joint efforts of all our instructors. Although the road ahead is long and fraught with challenges, as the journey is vast and winding, I will keep striving upward and onward!
