    Siemens-Tianqiao Crane: Cooperation and Exchange Meeting on Industrial Lifting Automation

    On September 18, 2020, Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. held the “Siemens-Tianqiao Crane—Industrial Crane Automation Cooperation and Exchange Meeting” at the Grand Hyatt Zhuzhou Hotel. The meeting invited more than 30 leaders and guests from Tianqiao Crane Co., Ltd. of Zhuzhou, including Zheng Zhengguo, General Manager of Tianqiao Crane Co., Ltd.; Lv Fang, Director of the Technology Center; Yan Haixia, Head of the Procurement Department; as well as representatives from the Technology Center, Customer Service Center, and other subsidiaries such as Tianqiao Aoyue, Ureco, and Tianqiao Jiacheng. Also in attendance were a delegation of 10 people led by Lin Yi, General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd.; Li Wenxing, Deputy General Manager of Changsha Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd.; and Zhou Yue, Sales Manager.

    At 9:00 a.m., the exchange meeting officially began. The meeting consisted of four main parts: a product introduction by Siemens, technical exchanges on Siemens products, a Q&A session to address participants' questions, and a dinner reception. First, Director Lü Fang, Director of the Tianqiao Crane Technology Center, delivered the opening remarks. Director Lü expressed gratitude for Siemens’ support and welcomed the guests from Zero One Industrial, then provided an overview of Tianqiao Crane’s development over the past few years. Director Lü also stated that he looked forward to even closer collaboration with Siemens in the future.

    Next, Duan Long, Director of the Crane Capability Center at Siemens’ Large Drive Division, provided a brief overview of Siemens’ crane products and services. At 9:30 a.m., Chen Qianchun from the Crane Capability Center introduced the digital production management system for cranes and the WMS inventory management system, and then demonstrated via video the AJV inbound operation process.

    Immediately afterward, Lin Chaohui from the Crane Capability Center shared Siemens’ anti-sway system solutions and real-world case studies. He also demonstrated a video on how to commission SINAMICS S120 drives using STARTER software. During the morning session, the atmosphere in the audience was lively and enthusiastic. Participants collectively summarized insights, shared experiences, and addressed questions, growing together through mutual exchange and discussion.
     
    At 2:00 p.m., the second-half session officially began. First, Zhou Yingda, an expert from Siemens’ Technical Competence Center, explained Siemens motors’ applications in industrial control from three aspects: product types, technical features, and daily operations. He particularly highlighted the application of real-time monitoring of motor data via mobile phones. Next, Siemens... Technical Capability Center Expert Yang Donggang introduced to everyone the selection and migration of Siemens network products as well as the TIA 1200/1500 series, and vividly outlined the development history of Siemens automation products.
     
    At 4:30, Chen Ping, Director of the Siemens Technology Capability Center, explained the real-world applications of SINAMICS under TIA Portal and demonstrated to everyone how to debug brake control.

    Finally, Zheng Zhengguo, General Manager of Tianqiao Crane, and Shen Yunyan, General Manager for the Port, Shipbuilding, and Crane Industries at Siemens, summarized the meeting. Both Mr. Zheng and Mr. Shen jointly expressed that this exchange meeting was a great success and extended their gratitude to Zero One Industry for its assistance in organizing and facilitating the event. Siemens, Tianqiao Crane, and Zero One Industry all look forward with great anticipation to Siemens’ applications in the crane industry and are confident in future collaboration among the three parties.
