To broaden horizons and elevate their perspective, the first group of participants in the Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Heir Apparent Program embarked on a four-day trip to Sanya on September 25.

On the departure day, September 25, the tour group members got up at 3:00 a.m., set off at 3:30 a.m., and arrived at the airport at 4:50 a.m. They took the earliest flight of the day, which departed at 6:45 a.m. and landed in Sanya, Hainan, at 8:22 a.m. When booking the flight, the team members unanimously agreed to take the earliest available flight—first, because an early flight could help avoid time losses caused by potential traffic jams during the journey; second, because the landing time would not interfere with communication with clients. This detail is a tangible embodiment of the team members’ commitment to the company’s “369 Culture,” demonstrating their unwavering dedication and putting words into action just as much as anyone else.
After landing, the members of the successor team headed to the company’s duplex residence in the CITIC Peninsula Cloud Residence community. Perched halfway up the hillside, they enjoyed an unobstructed view of the boundless blue sky, fluffy white clouds, and the vast ocean. In the underground parking garage, they saw one luxury car after another—Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Bentley, Lamborghini, and more. The sheer magnitude of the vista deeply moved the tour group members, elevating their perspectives to a whole new level and giving them a profound understanding of the phrase repeatedly emphasized by Kazuo Inamori and General Manager Wang: “In our youth, we must strive with all our might.”

On September 26, the tour group members worked together as a team, pooled their ideas, and carefully selected activities. At just 198 yuan per person, they enjoyed the experience of sailing out to sea. Everyone mustered up their courage and, while ensuring safety, boldly took a refreshing swim in the ocean and patiently tried their hand at sea fishing. Both their bodies and minds were filled with sheer delight.

On the morning of September 27, everyone worked together in分工合作 and relied on their own efforts to head to the seafood market and buy groceries. With just under 500 yuan, they managed to prepare a hearty two-meal seafood feast for the day.

From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., everyone participated remotely in the “The Harder You Work, the Luckier You’ll Be” event via online platforms. During the event, participants shared their insights and reflections on the past few days—both their successes and challenges. Under the guidance of General Manager Wang, they once again deeply understood the essence of “putting forth effort no less than anyone else’s during your youth.” Through the two key topics—“Dreams and Crisis Management”—everyone gained even more from their trip to Sanya. After the event concluded, everyone gathered on the balcony, where, surrounded by the vast ocean and basking in the gentle, soothing sea breeze, they continued to dream big, exchange ideas about work, and look forward to the future—carrying on this lively conversation well into the late hours of the night.

On September 28, the successor members visited Sanya International Duty-Free City and the Sanya Atlantis Hotel.
The Sanya Duty-Free Store, meticulously developed by China Duty Free (Group) Corporation Ltd., is a world-class, Asia-leading downtown duty-free shop that began operations on September 1, 2009. The store spans two floors with a total retail area of 7,000 square meters. It primarily offers ten major product categories—including perfumes and cosmetics from internationally renowned brands, jewelry, luxury watches, leather goods, luggage and bags, sunglasses, travel accessories, as well as specialty products from China and Hainan—featuring tens of thousands of items from nearly a hundred globally recognized brands. Among these brands, GUCCI, Tiffany, Armani, and Montblanc are all making their debut in China as duty-free brands.
Sanya Atlantis is located in Haitang Bay, a national coastal area, and covers an area of 540,000 square meters. The hotel was jointly designed and built by more than 80 internationally renowned architectural and design firms. Its design style blends Eastern and Western cultural elements as well as the unique local culture of Hainan Island. It is a comprehensive tourism complex integrating eight major business segments: resort hotels, entertainment, dining, shopping, performing arts, property management, international conventions and exhibitions, and distinctive marine cultural experiences.
Marine culture is a major highlight of this hotel. Its Ambassador Lagoon, filled with 13,500 tons of natural seawater, is home to over 280 species of freshwater and marine animals. The hotel features the "Lost World" aquarium, where visitors can marvel at more than 280 species of creatures, including sharks, rays, jellyfish, surgeonfish, moray eels, and arapaima. Guests can also dive alongside exotic marine life in the hotel’s diving programs. In addition, the hotel has created Water World—a 200,000-square-meter water park that’s open year-round, offering dozens of top-notch slides, exhilarating rapids rides, and a fun-filled splash zone for kids. The hotel boasts 21 globally renowned restaurants, serving a diverse array of international cuisines, from European buffet to Chinese buffet and Japanese cuisine, allowing guests to savor the world’s culinary treasures right here in Hainan.
The successors purchased gifts and souvenirs for their colleagues and family members at the duty-free shop, and then experienced the luxury of a world-class hotel at the Atlantis Hotel. These two luxurious experiences once again broadened everyone’s horizons and elevated their perspectives.

At 7:05 p.m., everyone took a flight with the domestic low-cost carrier Jiuyuan Airlines and landed at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport at 8:40 p.m., bringing to a satisfying conclusion this trip to Sanya—a journey that broadened our horizons and elevated our perspectives.
