I. The New Employee Training Segment
As the year-end bells are about to ring, it’s once again the annual harvest season. Under the warm sunshine of the New Year, the southern lands remain cozy and inviting, and Guangdong’s Lingyi Science Park is awash with vibrant colors, its gardens bursting with springtime splendor.
From January 13 to 18, 2020, Zhengda Machinery & Electronics solemnly held the “2020 Together, Restarting” — 2019 Year-End Series of Events at its headquarters in Foshan, within the Guangdong Lingyi Science and Technology Park. This event included new employee training, Interdepartmental talent training and executive succession exchange activities, It consists of six parts: a fun sports meet, an annual summary conference and awards ceremony, an annual recognition conference, and a year-end gala dinner.
I. New Employee Training Section
To help new employees understand the company and experience its culture firsthand, we encourage them to deeply grasp what it means to be a qualified “Zhengda” person through the integration of mind and body. From January 13 to 16, 46 new colleagues from various units of CPME gathered on the 4th floor, International Conference Center, Building 1, Lingyi Science and Technology Park, to participate in a 3-day, 4-night onboarding training program. Wang Zhenghu, President of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics; Lin Yi, General Manager of Lingyi Industrial Co., Ltd.; Lian Chan-huan, General Manager of Siemens Motor Division; Huang Xuehua, Office Director; Ye Xiaohong, Marketing Manager; Feng Mingjun, Senior Marketing Specialist; and Luo Huifeng, Head of the Finance Department, served as instructors. The systematic training concluded successfully with a grand opening ceremony and a lively summary of the current phase.
On the one hand, we’ve summarized our experiences and, while continuing to deliver content on “Corporate Development and Corporate Culture,” “Office Management and Reception Etiquette,” and “Knowledge Is Power,” we’ve also introduced new elements, including sharing sessions by outstanding general managers as well as skill training related to finance and marketing.
On the other hand, drawing on the guidance provided by President Wang Zhenghu during his studies in Europe and China, we have fully embraced the global perspective and adopted the learning spirit of “drawing on others’ experiences is itself a form of innovation.” As a result, we’ve launched a series of initiatives—for example, requiring all participants to engage in self-study prior to the training and organizing relevant exams. I go for a morning run at 6:30 a.m. and study until 10:30 p.m. in the evening. A symposium for both new and veteran employees, followed by further communication and exchanges between the leaders who participated in the symposium and the employees.
During the post-class exchange and sharing session, Dongguan Dasheng Luli excitedly said: “Packed with useful information—many common pitfalls that people tend to overlook were covered.” Student Wu Yuhui also stated: You might not even be able to afford training like this for tens of thousands of yuan outside. ”
During the effectiveness survey, Changsha Lingyi Yiyuxuan wrote: “Through these past few days of learning, I’ve gradually come to understand and embrace our company culture. Doing things with heart and integrity, and striving for excellence in everything we do—this is precisely the spirit of Zhengda employees.”
One colleague wrote anonymously: “Normally, I’m involved in sales and don’t have much exposure to financial knowledge. It wasn’t until this training that I realized how closely finance is intertwined with sales. Financial knowledge can help us better understand our business, gain insights into customer operations, and more effectively achieve our sales targets.”
At the closing meeting on the evening of the 16th, Xiao Qingyong from Chengdu Nengda shared, “I initially didn’t have a very good understanding of the parent company’s culture.” Through these past few days of training, we’ve truly felt the company’s thoughtfulness toward new employees—and the strong sense of unity that underpins it all. I believe this is precisely what makes a great company: its positive atmosphere and cohesive spirit. As our slogan says, “Together, let’s set off again”—and I’m confident that as the company embarks on this new journey, it will reach even greater heights.
New employee training is just a microcosm of the many learning opportunities offered by Zhengda Machinery & Electronics. The following were carried out simultaneously on January 16: In the morning, a “Financial Training” session for general managers and core key personnel; In the afternoon, General Managers Wang, Lin, and Lian will engage in exchanges and share insights aimed at general managers and those in the succession planning program. The exam on corporate culture and financial knowledge for general manager-level executives will be held on the evening of the 17th.
“Together, Let’s Start Anew”—Zhengda Machinery & Electronics sincerely invites every ambitious individual with dreams to join us in forging win-win partnerships and co-creating the future.

II. Cross-Department Talent Development Section
Talent is the core competitive advantage of an enterprise. To achieve the company’s sustained, stable, and high-speed development, we have consistently been committed to building a robust talent pipeline. Following our succession planning program aimed at newly appointed executives and regional leaders, we have now launched a cross-departmental talent-development program. Through this initiative, we seek to identify and nurture a group of promising young and mid-level talents who demonstrate significant potential for further growth as we promote and pass on our corporate culture. In 2019, the company initiated this cross-departmental talent-development program and organized two training sessions during this period: “Perspective” and “Wolf-Style Sales.”
On the morning of January 17, 30 key trainees from various units under Zhengda Machinery & Electronics attended the third session of cross-departmental talent development at the International Conference Center of Lingyi Science and Technology Park. Mr. Lian Chan-huan, General Manager of the Siemens Motor Division of Lingyi Industrial Company, and Mr. Shi Hao, General Manager of Foshan Zhengda Bearing Company, were invited to serve as instructors.
First, Director Lian began his remarks by drawing on classical texts and citing President Xi’s famous saying: “A gentleman focuses on the root; when the root is established, the way naturally emerges.” Combining this with his many years of experience in team management, he delivered a keynote presentation on leadership titled “A Gentleman Focuses on the Root.”

Next, Mr. Shi, drawing on his own personal development journey at Zhengda, his inner growth process, and his current reflections and insights, emphasized the importance of growing through practical experience.

Finally, the participants engaged in lively discussions and exchanges around the content they had learned, thoroughly digesting and absorbing it. They then wrote down their reflections and insights, bringing this learning session to a fulfilling close with abundant takeaways.
Youth means more choices, more opportunities, and more possibilities. Together, let’s set off again—tomorrow will be even better! Come on, young people—let’s stay young and full of strength, embracing our dreams with passion!
On the morning of January 17, the succession planning exchange meeting was held in the conference room on the 10th floor of the headquarters of Lingyi Science and Technology Park. A total of 18 people attended the meeting, including President Wang Zhenghu, key personnel from Chengfu Finance, core business staff from Lingyi Industry, and functional backbone members from Lingyi Industry. President Wang Zhenghu provided on-site answers to the questions raised by the prospective successors.
At this exchange meeting, participants first summarized and reviewed the succession activities conducted throughout 2019. In total, eight succession activities were held in 2019, averaging one every one and a half months. The themes centered around “organizational development,” “personal growth,” “team management,” and “the 369 culture,” among others.
Next, everyone shared their insights and takeaways from participating in the 2019 Successor Program. Through the exchange and learning activities of this program, participants gained a deeper understanding of the Six Principles of Perfection and gradually began to apply them in both their work and personal lives—for instance, by exercising regularly, quitting smoking, and conducting regular reflections and summaries on their work. At the same time, they also identified areas for improvement: First, the program should be planned well in advance, with sufficient time reserved for thorough preparation, which would make it more efficient; second, the program’s theme should be highly targeted and tailored to actual business or management needs; third, inviting experienced leaders or colleagues who have achieved outstanding results to share their experiences could help enhance everyone’s professional and managerial capabilities; fourth, organizing visits to other companies for study tours could broaden participants’ horizons and enrich their knowledge.

Finally, President Wang emphasized: “Everyone should take good care of their health. Only with a strong body can we work wholeheartedly. We must develop the good habit of self-reflection and summarization. The student council members serving as successors can create quarterly or semiannual plans and then carry them out accordingly. Moreover, we should go out more often to exchange ideas and learn from others, broadening our horizons and elevating our perspective.”
This succession exchange meeting summarized and reviewed the achievements and shortcomings of 2019, while also outlining preliminary directions for activities in 2020. Everyone looks forward to making the succession program even better, more meaningful, and more rewarding with each passing year.
IV. Fun Sports Games Section
Activities are the foundation of life, and movement is the source of all living things. To enrich employees’ lives and strengthen cohesion among them as well as the spirit of mutual assistance within teams, the 7th Sports Meet of Zero One Science and Technology Park was held on the afternoon of January 17.
This sports event features a total of 14 events, including table tennis—a sport that carries forward Chinese cultural heritage; “You Draw, I Guess,” which tests team coordination and chemistry; plank exercises, designed to build endurance and resilience; checkers, a game that sharpens mental agility; basketball matches, where youthful energy is fully unleashed; and the highlight event—tug-of-war. From the opening ceremony featuring the "national sport" to the highly anticipated conclusion of the tug-of-war, the entire campus was filled with enthusiastic cheers and shouts of encouragement from spectators. Amidst the jubilant atmosphere, one outstanding individual after another, as well as exceptional teams, were recognized and celebrated.
A rolling stone gathers no moss; a body in motion stays forever young. Right now, the athletes on the basketball court have undoubtedly become the darlings of Zhengda, drawing all our attention. Their relentless determination and belief in achieving victory through teamwork perfectly embody Zhengda’s “wolf spirit.” In the end, Shanghui Watch took first place, Siemens Motor Division came in second, and Foshan Zhengda Automation Co., Ltd. secured third place.

Next came the highly anticipated plank challenge, which is one of the highlights of the annual sports event. This year, our colleagues demonstrated even greater skill and prowess. You Shaoqing from Dongguan Dasheng not only broke the record set by our colleague last year but also established a brand-new record, achieving an impressive time of 22 minutes and 11 seconds. Wang Qiang from Changsha Zero One Industry secured second place with a perfectly executed form and unwavering determination. Particularly noteworthy is Xiao Bijun from Changsha Zero One Industry, who set a new women’s record in the plank challenge at 13 minutes and 30 seconds.

What is it about tug-of-war that’s so captivating—drawing everyone’s attention while simultaneously gripping the hearts of every participant? It’s the unanimous rhythm of the shouts, the resolute gazes of the athletes, and the shared belief that unites the teams. After fierce competition among numerous teams, the ultimate showdown finally arrived between Zero One Real Estate and Siemens Motor Division. We’d like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Zero One Real Estate for winning the championship, and to Siemens Motor Division for taking home the runner-up prize.
