    Siemens 2019 Distributor Conference – Digital Industrialization – Gathering Momentum for Takeoff

    From November 13 to 15, 2019, Siemens Digital Industries Group (hereinafter referred to as “DI China”) held the 2019 DI China Distributor Conference with great fanfare at the Marriott/Wyndham Grand Hotel Taihu in Suzhou—a “World Heritage Model City”—to express gratitude for the outstanding achievements made by distributors across China during fiscal year FY1819. A delegation of 12 people, including Lin Yi, General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lingyi Industry”), Peng Jinsong, General Manager of Zhengyi Automation, You Rongzhu, General Manager of Dongguan Dasheng, Li Wenxing, General Manager of Changsha Lingyi, Wang Yijian, General Manager of Chengdu Nengda, and Long Wang Hailong, General Manager of Xi'an Zhengyi, attended the conference by invitation.
    In the afternoon of the 13th, major distributors arrived at the hotel one after another to check in. Siemens organized exciting and engaging team-building activities, such as a lively dragon dance, which instantly relieved the fatigue accumulated during the journey and fostered better communication and interaction among the distributors, thereby enhancing team cohesion.

    At 8:30 a.m. on the 14th, the conference officially kicked off, with the agenda centered around two main segments: the general assembly and the awards gala dinner. During the general assembly, Siemens shared with everyone the achievements of the previous fiscal year, outlined new business prospects for the coming fiscal year, and communicated the latest distributor policies and market directions for various business products in the new fiscal year. In addition, the company also shared some leading practices and effective experiences from selected distributors, giving us an even clearer understanding of how to step up our efforts.
    Siemens’ Industry 4.0 has been implemented for many years, accumulating considerable experience and achieving notable successes. At the conference, Siemens showcased to its major distributors, through real-world application cases, both the phased achievements in realizing industrial digitalization and its future development plans. Notably, the company has significantly expanded its digital business team, clearly demonstrating—through concrete actions—that this is the direction for the future industrial market.
    The companies that placed in the top three in the Siemens Distributor Industrial Knowledge Challenge were invited to participate in a distributor roundtable discussion and share their insights. Peng Jinsong, General Manager of Zhengyi Automation, served as the distributor representative and shared his experiences and best practices on how distributors can strengthen their internal capabilities and build a “capability-building” culture to support the development of the automation business.

    At the awards gala, three subsidiaries of our company—Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., Foshan Zhengyi Automation Equipment Co., Ltd., and Chengdu Nengda Technology Co., Ltd.—were each honored with the Siemens DI China Customer Satisfaction Award, the Independent Business Development Award, and the Business Growth Award for the FY1819 fiscal year.

    In 2019, the Zero One team pooled our wisdom and strength to set sail toward our dreams; in 2020, we united our forces for a soaring takeoff and achieved even greater success. Come on, Zero One team—keep it up!
