Zhengda Machinery & Electronics attended the poverty alleviation battle conference hosted by the Chancheng District Government.

On October 14, 2019, the People's Government of Chancheng District in Foshan City held a conference on the battle against poverty, during which it commended and praised 15 outstanding organizations that had participated in the “100 Enterprises Assist 100 Villages” pairing assistance program in Liangshan Prefecture. Guided by General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on poverty alleviation, the conference comprehensively summarized and redeployed the work carried out by Chancheng District from 2017 to 2019—the three-year battle against poverty.
Sun Haiwen, Deputy Secretary of the Zen District Party Committee and District Mayor of Zen District, emphasized that it is essential to unite efforts from top to bottom and forge synergy to comprehensively establish a broad poverty alleviation framework characterized by "Party and government taking the lead, departments working in coordination, social participation, support from all quarters, and the whole population pitching in."
Chancheng District of Foshan City was awarded the title of “Top Ten National New Districts for Targeted Poverty Alleviation” in 2018, becoming the only district or county in Guangdong Province to receive this honor.
As of the end of 2018, Chancheng District had helped a total of 10,186 impoverished people in Lianjiang City escape poverty, achieving a poverty alleviation rate of 91% and establishing 173 industry-based poverty alleviation projects. For poverty alleviation efforts in Liangshan, the Finance Bureau of Foshan City provided financial assistance to the three counties at a rate of 45 million yuan per county. Chancheng also allocated 600,000 yuan in support funds to each of the counties collaborating on poverty alleviation.
The subsidiary of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics, Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lingyi Industrial”), was awarded the title of “Advanced Supporting Unit” in the Liangshan Prefecture’s “100 Enterprises Assist 100 Villages” pairing assistance program at this conference. In June 2018, Lingyi Industrial signed a village-enterprise pairing assistance agreement with Gamojing Village, Kuyi Township, Zhaojue County, Liangshan Prefecture, officially establishing a close partnership. Lingyi Industrial took the lead in launching the “Striving for a Comfortable Life” expanded village-enterprise pairing assistance initiative and became one of the first enterprises to successfully fulfill its pairing assistance tasks with the counterpart county in Liangshan Prefecture. Lingyi Industrial continues to provide ongoing support to Gamojing Village through initiatives such as purchasing goods on behalf of the village, labor cooperation, and educational assistance.
