Senior management of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Company tours New Zealand and Fiji.

Under the careful planning of President Wang Zhenghu, a high-level delegation of 22 senior executives from Zhengda Machinery and Electronics successfully held a high-level meeting on May 12 in Queenstown, New Zealand. To make the most of this meeting, we divided into five separate groups and embarked on different itineraries:
Route One: From May 7 to May 16, a 22-member New Zealand team tour led by the Chairman of the Board of MaDa University.
On May 7, a group of 22 people, including the chairman of MDA, departed from Foshan bound for New Zealand. On May 8, we arrived in Auckland and began our sightseeing tour of the North Island. On May 11, we flew to the South Island and arrived in Queenstown on May 12 for a meeting. From May 13 to May 16, we continued our sightseeing tour of the South Island.

From May 8 to 11, we visited Auckland city center, Rotorua, Waitomo, and Te Anau in succession. Auckland is renowned worldwide as the "City of Sails," boasting charming beaches and a vast harbor. We toured the Yacht Club, Auckland Harbour, and the massive volcanic crater known as Mount Eden, from which we enjoyed panoramic views of Auckland. Then, we boarded a farm tour bus to embark on an authentic New Zealand farm experience, where we personally fed various animals. We also explored the Glowworm Caves—the Waitomo Caves region is famous for its stunning underground cave systems. Beneath the surface, limestone layers have formed an extensive network of caves, adorned with a dazzling array of stalactites, stalagmites, and glowworms, attracting tourists from all over the globe. Next, we headed to the Maori Cultural Village in Rotorua, where we learned about the origins and development of Maori culture. Afterward, we visited the geothermal springs and hot mud pools inside the volcano, including sulfur-rich mud pools. Immersed in this geothermal area, visitors felt as if they were floating among clouds and mist. Here, there are countless hot springs and mud pools, with bubbling mud that emits a rich, pungent sulfur scent.
On May 12, we departed from Te Anau and headed to Queenstown, where we joined forces with President Wang Zhenghu, General Manager Lin Yi, General Manager Shi Hao, General Manager Liu Yi, and General Manager You Rongzhu. After the reunion, the senior management team of Zhengda Machinery—comprising a total of 22 members—headed to the Hilton Hotel for a meeting. During this meeting, each general manager addressed the issues facing their respective companies under the theme of “criticism and self-criticism,” and together they discussed these challenges. President Wang provided comments and guidance throughout the session. That evening, we gathered at the Hilton Hotel with our family members for a dinner and exchange.

On May 13, we continued our tour and visited Queenstown, Arrowtown, Lake Tekapo, Wanaka, and Christchurch in succession. Queenstown is an internationally recognized world-class resort destination where you can stroll along the lakeside promenade to admire the enchanting views of the lake and its waters, or enjoy thrilling outdoor activities such as horseback riding, jet boating, bungee jumping, and skydiving. Arrowtown is one of New Zealand’s most picturesque spots. As late autumn arrives and everything begins to don a golden hue, Arrowtown itself seems bathed in warm sunlight. Lake Tekapo is located in the central mountainous region of New Zealand’s South Island, with Mount Cook National Park to its northwest. The waters of Lake Tekapo and other lakes in the area have a deep, jewel-green color—unique and exquisite. This stunning hue is caused by finely suspended particles of glacial rock found in the lake.
On the evening of May 15, we flew from Christchurch to Guangzhou, and on May 16, we returned to our warm home, bringing our trip to a successful conclusion.
Route Two: From May 7 to May 12, General Managers Shi Hao, Liu Yi, and You Rongzhu will be taking a self-guided trip to New Zealand. The trio will explore the North Island via air, land, and sea, crossing the Cook Strait in the process. On May 12, they’ll meet up in Queenstown and then continue their journey across the South Island.
Third Route: On May 10, President Wang Zhenghu and General Manager Lin Yi departed from Foshan. After joining up with the main group, they embarked on a self-guided trip to New Zealand from May 13 to May 16, together with Shi Hao, Liu Yi, and You Rong. During their trip, they played golf and sampled wines at wineries.
Fourth Route: From May 17 to May 21, President Wang Zhenghu and a group of eight people took a leisure trip to Fiji.
The vast South Pacific Ocean, with its isolated islands scattered like pearls across the boundless azure sea, welcomes each day the very first rays of sunlight on Earth. Free from industrial pollution, these islands are surrounded by some of the purest waters in all the oceans—emerald-green seas, pristine white beaches, and swaying coconut trees that seem to transform the islands into a paradise on earth. A diver’s holy land, a vacation haven for Europeans and Americans, and one of the earliest places in the world to greet the sunrise—all these elements combine to make Fiji one of the happiest places on Earth. Led by President Wang Zhenghu, our group of eight arrived in Fiji on May 17 and embarked on a five-day independent tour of this enchanting island nation.

Fiji—every moment, from sunrise to sunset and on into a sky full of twinkling stars—is breathtakingly beautiful. Here, we play golf, go deep-sea fishing, savor sumptuous seafood feasts, and immerse ourselves in the local culture and way of life.
New Zealand is beautiful, and Fiji is beautiful too—but in the past, it wasn’t so easy to come and take a look. It’s thanks to our motherland’s development that we now have the opportunity to travel and explore. Every journey we take is ultimately aimed at giving us a broader perspective, enabling us to build our hometown even more beautifully and ensuring that everyone who stays behind need not travel thousands of miles to experience the breathtaking beauty of exotic lands. To have grown up in a China that is steadily becoming stronger and wealthier is truly a blessing from heaven. And to be part of the realization of the Chinese Dream—what greater privilege could there be? We have absolutely no excuses; all we can do is unite as one, work together with wholehearted dedication! Let’s be grateful—and let’s take action!
