On June 18, 2019, Mr. Westerholt, General Manager of FABU, DI Business Group at Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Siemens”), Mr. Wang Jiangtao, Sales Director of FAPSS, DI Business Group, Mr. Liu Yu, Sales Director for the South China Region of the Distributor Management Department, and Mr. Yu Kai, DS Sales Manager for the South China Region of the DI Business Group, paid a visit to our company. Also present were Mr. Wang Zhenghu, President of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd.; Mr. Lin Yi, General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lingyi Industrial”); Mr. Peng Jinsong, General Manager of Foshan Zhengda Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhengda Automation”); and the Deputy General Manager.
On June 18, 2019, Mr. Westerholt, General Manager of the FA BU within Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Siemens”), Mr. Wang Jiangtao, Sales Director of FA PSS within the DI Business Group, Mr. Liu Yu, Sales Director for the South China Region in the Distributor Management Department, and Mr. Yu Kai, DS Sales Representative for the South China Region within the DI Business Group, paid a visit to our company. They were warmly received by leaders including Mr. Wang Zhenghu, President of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd.; Mr. Lin Yi, General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Lingyi Industrial”); Mr. Peng Jinsong, General Manager of Foshan Zhengda Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhengda Automation”); Mr. Hu Qiuyuan, Deputy General Manager; and Mr. Sun Xiaogang, Assistant to the General Manager.
Mr. Westerholt and his delegation visited the Lingyi Science and Technology Park and the headquarters of Charoen Pokphand Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd., among other places.
Subsequently, Siemens executives held a communication and exchange session with President Wang Zhenghu. In addition to discussing the development status of the FA business in fiscal year 2018/19, both sides shared their insights on the impact of the U.S.-China trade war on current operations and explored future business development opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Mr. Westerholt noted that while the current economic situation does present certain challenges, both the increased growth opportunities arising from the trade war and the promising prospects offered by the development of the Greater Bay Area will create even brighter prospects. He expressed strong confidence in China’s economic development. This view resonated deeply with President Wang.
Next, Mr. Westerholt and his delegation had a detailed discussion with the team from Zhengyi Automation regarding the business performance for fiscal year 2018/19. Hu Qiuyuan, Deputy General Manager of Zhengyi Automation, reviewed the company’s performance over the past eight months of this fiscal year and shared with Siemens leaders the competitive challenges currently faced by OEM customers. Mr. Westerholt expressed full recognition of Zhengyi Automation’s impressive achievement—showing a slight year-on-year increase despite the current challenging economic environment—and praised the company’s unwavering commitment to investment and its spirit of hard work and perseverance.
Meanwhile, Mr. Westerholt stated that Siemens will respond swiftly to the OEM customer situations reported by Vice President Hu Qiuyuan and General Manager Peng, providing comprehensive support in terms of technology, training, and services, with a focus on both competitors and specific customers.
