Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Company’s Series of Visiting Activities for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

To carry forward and inherit the company’s corporate culture of “reading ten thousand books and traveling ten thousand miles,” and to actively promote the win-win theme of “I’ll shape my own future, and together we’ll build our shared future,” Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd., as a beneficiary of China’s reform and opening-up policy, has consistently kept pace with the nation’s progress. The company recently organized a visit to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, witnessing firsthand this world-renowned bridge that connects the two shores and has captured global attention.
At 7:00 a.m. on February 23, Wang Zhenghu, founder, president, and Party branch secretary of Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electronics, led nearly 50 people—including Party members, internal training instructors, senior executives, and their family members—to gather at Zero One Science and Technology Park and set off for a visit to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, a landmark project that connects the two sides of the strait and has garnered worldwide attention.
This itinerary is packed with activities: We’ll take a cruise to explore the sea, then hop on a shuttle bus to experience the bridge firsthand, and finally return via high-speed rail from Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Station.

Around 10:15, we arrived at the Jiuzhou Port terminal. Aboard the scenic luxury cruise ship—Sea Bee—which only began operating on February 1—we set sail across the boundless waters of the Lingdingyang Sea, riding the waves with ease and confidence. The light drizzle didn’t dampen anyone’s excitement and enthusiasm in the slightest. Many people made their way to the observation deck on the third floor, gazing into the distance with anticipation. As the ship drew nearer and nearer to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, it swiftly passed beneath it, heading off into the horizon. Look—gentle saxophone melodies are gently carrying us back toward the Zhuhai Grand Theatre, composed of two giant shells. Listen—the praises of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge are being read aloud with pride. And now—“I Love China” is being passionately performed by Lu Zaiqing, General Manager of the Shunde Branch, who spontaneously stepped onto the stage, joined by a singer. Take a closer look—the cheerful singing, accompanied by a lively rhythm, has already brought us back to our starting point. After a 100-minute journey, the experience lingers on, leaving us longing for more.

Fortunately, we had another opportunity to get even closer to it. Around 2:00 p.m., the shuttle bus on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge sped across its expansive deck. I couldn't help but feel that this bridge—built with countless drops of sweat and tireless effort—seems to radiate untold stories and unimaginable miracles from every corner. It’s truly worth every Chinese person’s time to learn about and listen to these tales. Particularly astonishing is the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Subsea Tunnel, which stretches a full 6.7 kilometers. On land, a tunnel of such length is already rare and remarkable; yet here, deep beneath the vast ocean, the sheer magnitude of this feat evokes nothing but pride and admiration for my country.
Upon arriving at the Hong Kong West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, all participants split into two groups and went their separate ways. One group—consisting of Party member lecturers—remained in Hong Kong for sightseeing and study, returning by high-speed rail the following day. The other group, led by General Manager Wang and Lin Yi, General Manager of Zero One Industry, along with other senior executives, took the high-speed rail back to their pre-booked hotel in Shenzhen to attend a one-day, two-night workshop focused on a performance-doubling strategy.

There’s no path more direct to hope than a bridge; there’s no passion more exhilarating than crossing the tides. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge—a monumental testament to a great nation’s rise. My motherland, I am proud of you, I’m filled with immense pride for you! Dreams never come to us on their own—we must take bold steps toward them, enduring storms and hardships along the way, and putting forth effort no less than anyone else’s.
