2018 “Year of Talent, Setting Sail Again”—Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Company’s Spring Gala and Annual Awards Ceremony

The songs of victory bid farewell to the old year, while the swift dog ushers in the new spring. Abundant snow heralds a prosperous year, bringing renewal and vitality to all things.
We wave goodbye to the bountiful 2017 and stride boldly into 2018—a year brimming with promise and fresh beginnings. On the evening of February 3, Guangdong Lingyi (Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd.) held its grand 2018 “Talent Year, Setting Sail Again” Spring Festival Gala and Annual Awards Ceremony at the Guangdong Lingyi Science and Technology Park. All colleagues from the Group gathered together joyfully to share this festive occasion.
Attending the gala were strategic suppliers and core customers who have consistently supported Zhengda Machinery & Electronics’ development, as well as senior executives from Zhengda Machinery & Electronics, including Chairman Mai Dazhang, President Wang Zhenghu, General Manager Lin Yi from Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., General Manager Shi Hao from Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Bearing Co., Ltd., and General Manager Lei Yuqiang from Guangdong Lingyi Real Estate Co., Ltd. Also present were Zhengda employees and their families from across the country—over 600 people came together to celebrate the Spring Festival.
At the start of the gala, a slideshow of photos from 2017’s activities was shown, and the host officially announced the beginning of the annual awards ceremony! General Manager Lin Yi delivered the opening remarks, thanking all employees for their hard work and dedication over the past year. He praised the inspiring achievements made throughout the year and encouraged everyone to keep up the good work and strive for even greater success in the coming year. Finally, he wished everyone an auspicious, happy, and healthy Year of the Dog.
Next came the award presentation for outstanding managers and employees. The four general managers—Lei Yuqiang, Du Haiyu, Shi Hao, and Peng Jinsong—served as award presenters. Wang Weimei, Deputy General Manager and an outstanding representative from Siemens Business Unit, shared her heartfelt words of gratitude, thanking Zhengda for providing the platform that helped her become a better version of herself.
Following that, General Manager Lei Yuqiang reported on the operation of the “Next Generation Cultivation Public Welfare Fund” for 2017. Then, President Wang Zhenghu, General Manager Lin Yi, General Manager Lian Canhuan, and Director Li Yingqiang presented awards to the children of employees who had received the “Next Generation Cultivation Fund” honors, wishing the young recipients continued growth and success.
Next, led by Chairman Mai Dazhang and President Wang Zhenghu, the leadership team of 14 members took to the stage, raised their glasses, and offered blessings to the employees and guests attending the gala, officially declaring the gala open.
This gala featured wonderful performances and exciting live raffles. There was an opening dance titled “Plum Blossom Tears” performed by the children of employees, a kid-friendly rendition of “Cute Babies Celebrate the New Year,” and an inspirational song called “Fly Higher.” The program was full of highlights and surprises, filling the entire science park with a joyful, festive atmosphere. Three suspenseful raffle games kept the evening lively and exciting; abundant prizes—including appliances, food, and household items—were happily taken home by employees and guests wearing bright smiles.
Finally, the gala came to a close with a grand chorus of “Fly Higher.”
Setting sail into 2018, with the full support of our strategic suppliers, core customers, and employee families, and through the joint efforts and hard work of all Zhengda employees, the next 20 years for Zhengda will be even more brilliant!
