Setting Sail 2018 —— CPMEC’s 2017 Year-End Summary Conference and Awards Ceremony

On the afternoon of February 3, 2018, the 2017 Year-End Summary Meeting and Awards Ceremony of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd., themed “Setting Sail for 2018,” was solemnly held at the International Conference Center of Lingyi Science and Technology Park. More than 300 representatives, including leaders and employees from all subsidiaries of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd., attended the event. The leaders attending the meeting included: Mr. Mai Dazhang, Chairman of the Board of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd.; Mr. Wang Zhenghu, President; Ms. Dong Aihua, Assistant to the President; Mr. Lei Yuqiang, Director of the Human Resources Department and General Manager of Property Development; Ms. Pan Shaohong, Manager of the Audit Department; Mr. Lin Yiyi, General Manager of Lingyi Industrial; Mr. Lian Canhuan, General Manager of the Siemens Motor Division; Mr. Ni Xuefeng, Director of the Finance Department; Mr. Li Yingqiang, Director of the Human Resources Department; Mr. Chen Jingfeng, Deputy General Manager of Property Development; Mr. Du Haiyu, General Manager of Dongguan Xinshang; Mr. Peng Jinsong, General Manager of Zhengda Automation; Mr. You Rongzhu, General Manager of Dongguan Dasheng; and Mr. Shi Hao, General Manager of the Bearing Company.
General Manager Lin Yi delivered a keynote speech titled “Setting Sail for 2018.” The speech kicked off the next two decades by focusing on two key modules: “Strategic Alignment” and “Talent Strategy.” In line with the evolving market dynamics of various brands, the company will make substantial investments in promising growth companies and comprehensively reevaluate its strategic direction for the future. Furthermore, the company will establish a systematic operational framework for its management modules, starting with the development of a robust human resources system to build a comprehensive talent strategy that will extend across all other management areas. Aligned with China’s “Made in China 2025” initiative and Industry 4.0, ZeroOne Industries is poised to embark on a new journey of challenges over the next two decades.
Next, Deputy General Manager Chen Jingfeng delivered a summary of 2017 and a outlook for 2018 to the conference. We believe that the entire Zero One Science and Technology Park will become increasingly beautiful, increasingly warm and welcoming—just like home—and will continue to shine with the brilliance of the Party.
2017 was a year marked by great passion and enthusiasm. Under the guidance of strict and effective work directives, we successfully completed all tasks with high quality. To inspire and recognize outstanding individuals, we specially invited General Manager Lian Canhuan, General Manager Peng Jinsong, and General Manager You Rongzhu to share their valuable experiences.
Director Lei Yuqiang reported on the talent strategy: 2018 was designated as the “Year of Talent,” during which we will build talent systems for industry, real estate, and finance.
Finally, President Wang Zhenghu delivered a concluding speech titled “A New Era, a New Atmosphere, New Achievements,” reviewing the past 20 years of strategic guidance, industry selection, talent development, and market management. He expressed appreciation and gratitude to the executives and employees who have weathered both good times and tough challenges alongside the Group. For the next 20 years, the Group will adjust its strategic direction to break through bottlenecks in its growth trajectory—balancing quantity and profitability. Designating 2018 as the “Year of Talent,” the Group will set sail in 2018 from eight key areas: strategy, culture, talent, markets, finance, platforms, R&D, and corporate social responsibility, thereby boosting enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity. All functional departments and business teams within the Group will continue to pursue steady growth through innovation and seek development amid stability. Following this, a grand awards ceremony was held with the Chairman of Macquarie University, recognizing teams that exceeded their targets, star-rated general managers, and outstanding new recruits. At the same time, the Group renewed the 2018 operational responsibility agreements with each business division. This is not only an honor but also a solemn commitment.
The annual summary meeting has come to a perfect close, and the 2018 launch marks the beginning of yet another new chapter for the Group. Through the joint efforts and hard work of everyone at Zhengda, we will truly achieve a win-win situation—where "a single flower blooming alone does not make spring; only when myriad flowers bloom in vibrant colors does the garden burst into springtime!"
