On October 6, 2014, the 2015 Business Planning Conference of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. was solemnly held at the Foshan Creative Industry Park. To prepare a comprehensive budget for 2015 and achieve the company’s business objectives for 2015, 54 mid- and senior-level employees from Lingyi Industrial and its branch offices across the country attended the conference. On October 6, 2014, the 2015 Business Planning Conference of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. was solemnly held at the Foshan Creative Industry Park. To prepare a comprehensive budget for 2015 and achieve the company’s business objectives for 2015, 54 mid- and senior-level employees from Lingyi Industrial and its branch companies across China attended the conference.
During the morning session, Mr. Lin Yi, General Manager of Zero One Industrial Company, delivered a keynote speech on the theme “Speed, Carefulness, and Full Commitment.” In his speech, Mr. Lin reviewed the comparison between the 2014 budget and actual sales data for the company’s four major systems, and provided a detailed analysis of the budget’s existing issues: 1. In terms of product sales, there was a significant gap between the budgeted figures and actual performance; 2. The company placed greater emphasis on key projects while neglecting OEM business; 3. The company lacked sufficient self-management and control capabilities; 4. The introduction of new ideas was too slow—there was no extension of technological added value in product trading; 5. The team lacked sufficient enthusiasm and its ability to improve was slow. Following his remarks, Mr. Lin put forward specific requirements and suggestions, and also answered questions from the audience on the spot. This helped attendees gain a clearer understanding of the 2015 budgeting process and laid down the guiding principles for budget formulation.
In the second part of the meeting, participants were divided into four groups to engage in in-depth discussions on the requirements and suggestions put forward by General Manager Lin. In the afternoon, each group presented its findings and insights to General Manager Lin. The Supporting Systems Group, led by Lin Yongyuan, Deputy General Manager of the supporting company, reported on the importance of moving beyond past experiences, enhancing initiative and execution capabilities, fostering a spirit of进取 (enterprising), and balancing veteran employees with new recruits. The Mechanical Transmission Systems Group, headed by Lian Canhuan, General Manager of Siemens Motor Division, focused its report on achieving team balance, striking a proper balance between projects and OEM clients, and exploring ways to increase the added value of sales. The Automation and Xinshang Systems Group, led by Du Haiyu, General Manager of Xinshang Company, discussed topics such as product trade and technological expansion, team capability development, implementation of management systems, and communication with suppliers. The Special Motors Group, overseen by Sun Honglei, Deputy Director of the (Group) Company, addressed personalized services for special motors, technical support, the relationship between value and price, and delivery timelines. Finally, General Manager Lin Yi provided concise comments and feedback on each group’s presentation. With this, the 2015 Business Planning Meeting of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. came to a successful conclusion.
