The Lingyi Industrial Park project is a plot—plot 012—located in Zone C of the European Industrial Park at the intersection of Langbao West Road and Xingye Road in Zhangcha, which was acquired by Zhengda Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. in August 2012 through the land auction and tender process organized by the Chancheng District Bureau of Land and Resources. Currently, the design and approval procedures for this plot have been largely completed, and the project has entered the stage of foundation excavation work. Zone C of the European Industrial Park is a key initiative being developed by Chancheng District in Foshan City.

　　 The Zero One Industrial Park project is plot 012 within Zone C of the European Industrial Park, located at the intersection of Langbao West Road and Xingye Road in Zhangcha, which was acquired by Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. in August 2012 through the land auction and tender process organized by the Chancheng District Land and Resources Bureau. Currently, the design and approval procedures for this plot have been largely completed, and construction has entered the stage of foundation excavation.
　　Zone C of the European Industrial Park is a key industrial project being developed by Chancheng District in Foshan City. Located within the High-Tech Zone of Foshan City, Guangdong Province, the zone will leverage globally renowned suppliers of industrial equipment and services to attract a group of specialized equipment enterprises, manufacturers of energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment, and European companies possessing relevant technologies to set up operations in Zhangcha. As a flagship project for this zone, the park’s construction has now fully commenced under the close attention and guidance of leaders at all levels—including the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government, the District Party Committee, the District Government, and the Zhangcha Subdistrict Office.
　　Li Yiwei, Secretary of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee, and Liu Yuelun, Mayor of Foshan, along with other municipal leaders, have consistently kept the development and investment promotion of the industrial park in mind. In late May and mid-August 2013, Secretary Li and Mayor Liu, accompanied by District Secretary Bang Min of the Chancheng District Committee, District Chief Liu Donghao, and Secretary Li Jun of Zhangcha Subdistrict, visited successively the under-construction Andritz production base in Zone C of the European Industrial Park and the Zero One Industrial Park. Secretary Li Jun, representing Zhangcha Subdistrict, presented a report on the overall planning and construction progress of Zone C of the European Industrial Park. Secretary Li Yiwei and Mayor Liu Yuelun asked the relevant officials in charge in detail about the infrastructure construction and investment promotion efforts in Zone C of the European Industrial Park. Upon learning that some projects in the park would be ready for use by year-end and that investment promotion was going exceptionally well, Secretary Li and Mayor Liu expressed their full recognition and high praise for the work done by the district government and Zhangcha Subdistrict, and issued important instructions and arrangements for the next phase of work.
　　At the conclusion of the research visit, city leaders commented that each trip to Chancheng brings new surprises. The Chancheng District Committee and District Government attach great importance to the construction of an innovative city, have a clear development vision, implement appropriate measures, and have already begun to see initial results in various tasks. At the same time, city leaders pointed out that the next step should be to strengthen follow-up services for the platforms and teams that have settled in, enabling them to play their roles as soon as possible. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure adequate financial investment, intensify efforts to attract and nurture talent, build high-level platforms, explore new models for headquarters economy, and integrate the “innovation-driven” mechanism into all aspects of Chancheng District’s work.
