On July 30, 2013, at the invitation of the leadership of Guangzhou Energy-Saving Science and Technology Park Co., Ltd., a delegation of six people—including Wang Zhenghu, President of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd.; Lei Yuqiang, Assistant to the President of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Real Estate Co., Ltd.; and Chen Jingfeng, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Real Estate Co., Ltd.—visited the Guangzhou Energy-Saving Science and Technology Park.
Director Huang Shuo from the Guangzhou Energy-Saving Science and Technology Park received our company’s leadership. During the subsequent exchange meeting, Director Huang provided a detailed introduction to the park’s development journey. Director Huang mentioned that Comrade Hu Jintao had visited the park in 2011 and expressed his hope that the park would further enhance its services and help more innovative enterprises—especially small and medium-sized enterprises—get onto the “fast track” of development. Comrade Wang Yang, who at the time served as Vice Premier of the State Council and Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, had also visited the park for research purposes. Our company’s leadership expressed their desire to learn from and draw on the park’s experience in construction and management, with the aim of improving and upgrading the construction and management standards of the Zero One Industrial Park.
In the afternoon, at the invitation of the U.S.-based General Manager of the Guangzhou Guangyue Association, our company’s leadership team visited the association’s clubhouse. The Guangzhou Guangyue Association brings together officials from consulates around the world and senior executives from Fortune 500 companies, and is renowned as a unique hub in Guangzhou and South China—a vibrant crossroads of Cantonese culture, Lingnan culture, and international arts and culture.
In addition, on August 6, President Wang Zhenghu, Assistant to the President Lei Yuqiang, and Deputy General Manager Chen Jingfeng visited the Vanke Center in Shenzhen and were warmly received by the center’s staff. They also toured the Vanke Center building.
Vanke Center originated from a concept proposed by an American design team—Steven Holl Architects—entitled “Floating Horizon, Lying Skyscraper.” Designer Steven Holl has been named by U.S. magazine Time as one of America’s top architects and one of the world’s ten greatest designers. With a total floor area of 121,301 square meters, Vanke Center comprehensively adopts green building technologies and large-scale renewable energy utilization techniques. It was also among the first buildings to receive the Platinum certification under the U.S. Sustainable Development LEED system. The eco-friendly architectural philosophy of Vanke Center serves as the guiding model for the planning of the Zero One Industrial Park. The architectural concepts and technologies employed at Vanke Center will provide valuable reference for the development of the Zero One Industrial Park.
That afternoon, President Wang Zhenghu and his delegation were invited to visit and inspect BLD (Canada) Interior Design Company and Shenzhen Guangtian Decoration Group Co., Ltd. Leaders from both sides engaged in candid exchanges on park planning and architectural concepts.
With an international perspective and a commitment to excellence, Zero One Real Estate Company will continue to learn from industry leaders, draw on experiences in eco-friendly construction, and constantly refine the functional layout and development philosophy of the Zero One Industrial Park. We aim to establish the Zero One Industrial Park as Foshan’s signature architectural landmark, providing our employees and clients with a higher-quality, more spacious, and more relaxed work and living environment.
