"Strive for excellence and rise to challenges"—from July 21 to 23, 2013, the 2013 Mid-Year Summary Meeting of Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electrical (Group) Co., Ltd. was held at the beautiful Lanbo Bay Hotel in Zhapo, Yangjiang. Attending the meeting were Wang Zhenghu, President of the (Group) Company; Lin Yi, General Manager of Zero One Industrial Co.; Shi Hao, General Manager of Foshan Bearing Co.; Lei Yuqiang, Assistant to the Group President and General Manager of Zero One Real Estate Co.; as well as approximately 50 mid- and senior-level employees from various subsidiary companies. On the first day of the summary meeting, Lin Yi, General Manager of Zero One Industrial Co., delivered a keynote speech entitled "Strive for excellence and...".

| "Dedicated to striving for excellence and rising to challenges"—from July 21 to 23, 2013, the 2013 Mid-Year Summary Meeting of Foshan Zhengda Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. was held at the picturesque Lanbo Bay Hotel in Zhapo, Yangjiang. Attending the meeting were Wang Zhenghu, President of Zhengda Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd.; Lin Yi, General Manager of Lingyi Industrial Co., Ltd.; Shi Hao, General Manager of Foshan Bearing Co., Ltd.; Lei Yuqiang, Assistant to the Group President and General Manager of Lingyi Real Estate Co., Ltd.; as well as approximately 50 mid- and senior-level employees from various subsidiary companies. On the first day of the summary conference, Mr. Lin Yi, General Manager of Zero One Industrial Company, delivered a speech titled “Dedicated and Resolute, Facing Challenges Head-On,” summarizing the company’s work over the past six months. Next, Mr. Shi Hao, General Manager of Foshan Bearing Company, gave his own summary speech on the company’s performance over the same period. Following that, Mr. Lei Yuqiang, Assistant to the Group President and General Manager of Zero One Real Estate Company, provided an update on the progress and relevant details of the Zero One Industrial Park project. Then, Mr. Du Haiyu, General Manager of Xinshang Investment Company, delivered a summary speech on the company’s work over the past six months on behalf of the Xinshang System. Finally, Mr. Lian Canhuan, General Manager of the Siemens Motor Division of the Supporting Companies, and Mr. Qiu Jianwei, Manager of Zhaoqing Ruitai Bearing Company under the Bearing Company, each shared their insights and best practices from their respective benchmark departments. The next morning, the participants divided into six groups according to product lines for business discussions and deliberations. Among them, Zero One Industrial Company was split into four groups, Zero One Real Estate Company formed one group, and the Bearing Systems division formed another. In the afternoon, General Manager Lin Yi held a focused discussion with the General Manager of the Automation Systems division, titled “How to Enrich the Product Line of Automation Systems.” Afterwards, the four groups from Zero One Industrial Company presented their discussion findings. General Manager Lin Yi provided comments on these findings and then summarized the meeting. Zero One Real Estate Company and the Bearing Systems division also each conducted their own meeting summaries. The following evening, President Wang Zhenghu of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. delivered a learning session titled “On Corporate Innovation.” President Wang noted that during the company’s 17-year journey, Zhengda Machinery & Electronics has pursued a wide range of innovations, enabling it to maintain a leading edge in the trade of mechanical and electrical products. Today, the company’s business footprint is steadily expanding, and its product portfolio is becoming increasingly diversified. To further develop and strengthen each regional operation while sustaining its competitive advantage, general managers at all levels need to embrace more innovative thinking and better manage their respective businesses. In the first half of this year, despite an overall less-than-optimistic external economic environment, the company still achieved robust growth. President Wang Zhenghu expressed his gratitude for the hard work and dedication of managers at all levels as well as all employees, and encouraged everyone to keep up their efforts. With this, the mid-year summary meeting of Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd. for 2013 has come to a successful conclusion. On the morning of July 23, the company organized a group of employees to visit Mawei Island and the Nanhai No. 1 shipwreck. The remaining staff were free to arrange their own activities—some enjoyed a peaceful sleep at the hotel, others went to the beach to splash in the waves, and still others set out to explore local delicacies. Everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves. During the three-day conference, middle- and senior-level staff members finalized their work strategies for the second half of the year. They also took time to relax and enjoy themselves through recreational activities. All participants returned to their respective “domains” in high spirits, determined to achieve even greater success in the second half of the year! |
