From May 19 to 30, 2013, Lin Yi, General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., and Lin Yongyuan, Deputy General Manager of Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., successfully completed a business mission to Brazil organized by the Foshan Machinery and Equipment Industry Association. This event was led by the Foshan Municipal Government and hosted by the Foshan Machinery and Equipment Industry Association, with a total of 27 entrepreneur representatives from Foshan’s machinery and equipment industry participating. After more than 30 hours of air travel, the delegation members crossed the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean before arriving in São Paulo, Brazil. On the third day, the delegation members attended an event at the São Paulo Exhibition Center.

This event is led by the Foshan Municipal Government and organized by the Foshan Machinery and Equipment Industry Association. A total of 27 entrepreneur representatives from Foshan’s machinery and equipment industry are attending. After more than 30 hours of air travel, the delegation members crossed the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean before arriving in São Paulo, Brazil. On the third day, the delegation attended an international plastics machinery exhibition held at the São Paulo Exhibition Center. The exhibition featured a specially designated China pavilion, where numerous well-known Chinese brands of plastics machinery—including Haite Machinery—were showcasing their products. The afternoon’s itinerary was the highlight of this inspection tour. Led by Mayor Liu Yuelun of Foshan City, the delegation visited the China-Brazil Investment, Development, and Trade Center, where they spent nearly three hours promoting and exchanging ideas with more than 60 local Brazilian business representatives. Mayor Liu himself took to the stage and delivered a promotional speech on Foshan’s machinery industry that lasted over 20 minutes. Mayor Liu’s speech received unanimous praise from both the Brazilian Chamber of Machinery and the attending business representatives. The entire exchange meeting unfolded in an atmosphere that was both relaxed and professional. The Brazilian business representatives who attended expressed that they now have a thorough understanding of the current status and future prospects of Foshan’s machinery equipment industry, and they are eager to organize a business delegation soon to visit China for a return trip and further business exchanges. During the trip, at the arrangement of the China (Brazil) Investment and Trade Development Center, the delegation also visited Midea Group’s manufacturing plant in Manaus, Brazil, as well as several local Brazilian enterprises. Some members of the delegation took advantage of the weekend to visit the famous Amazon River, fully enjoying the pristine atmosphere of the tropical rainforest. In addition, several members traveled to Rio de Janeiro—the city that hosted the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games—and explored renowned landmarks such as Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. This business trip to Brazil represents an important opportunity for Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. to engage in business exchanges with overseas industry clients. It provides a valuable chance for the company to expand its product trade into foreign markets.
