Broaden horizons, elevate our perspective, and pursue a steady future together—The first-quarter 2022 online and offline series of events was a complete success.
April—the most beautiful season of the year—truly lives up to its name, allowing us to cherish the springtime and move forward with the times. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd. and to set off anew toward a brighter future, the company held a series of events for the first quarter of 2022 on the eve of the May Day holiday. All key employees “gathered” both online and offline at the picturesque Dahao Lake in Foshan, where they learned amid stunning scenery and reaped valuable insights from nature. This event was organized by... Visit to the Dahao Lake Resort, First-Quarter All-Staff Meeting, CEO Exchange Meeting, “Gezhi & Senior Manager Program” and “Reserve Manager Program” Training Bookstore Visit and NIO Experience Event consisting of five parts.
I. Visit to the Dahao Lake Resort Area Event
To broaden our horizons and enjoy the beautiful scenery of late spring and early summer, about 50 colleagues from various units under Zhengda Machinery & Electronics arrived at the Guangyue International Exchange Center (hereinafter referred to as CIH) at 8:30 a.m. on April 27.
CIH consists of three interconnected buildings, comprising two main sections: a recreation and sports center and a cultural center. It also features the "Doudou Kingdom," designed by the Disney team. The recreation and sports center offers a variety of sports and leisure facilities as well as natural landscapes, while the cultural center includes the Shengping Auditorium, multi-purpose rooms, and the Shibafu Restaurant, among other amenities.

At 9:00 a.m., our colleagues arrived at the Foshan Golf Club—a world-class, 18-hole championship golf course meticulously designed by Tony Kates, the internationally renowned golf course designer and one of the world’s leading course architects. As soon as they stepped onto the premises, they were greeted by a breathtaking subtropical landscape of lush greenery featuring Argentina Paspalum grass, set against a backdrop of clear blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Complementing this stunning scenery is the state-of-the-art, 8,000-square-meter clubhouse—planned by the prestigious Hong Kong-based architectural firm P&T—whose modern design truly leaves visitors in awe.

Next, the colleagues headed to the golf practice range. Everyone was brimming with enthusiasm and couldn't wait to give it a try. Under the patient guidance of the golf instructor, they began practicing their swings and hitting balls. Some colleagues were shy and reserved, others tried to look cool and stylish, while still others quietly displayed hidden talents waiting to be discovered. The golf experience came to an end amid bursts of laughter and cheerful chatter among the colleagues.

At 11:30 a.m., everyone headed together to the Guangyue International Exchange Center for morning tea, where they engaged in casual conversations and exchanges, learning from one another.

3. “Gezhi & Senior Manager Program,” “Reserve Manager Program” training sessions, CEO sharing sessions, and Qixue Bookstore & NIO experience events.
On April 28, a team of trainers—including General Managers Wang, Lin, Lian, Peng, and Hu—conducted training and exchange sessions for “General Manager-level and Functional Department Heads,” “Gezhi Class & Senior Manager Class,” and “Reserve Manager Class.”
General Manager Wang introduced the Guangfo New World Dahao Lake Resort to everyone and shared fascinating personal experiences and anecdotes from his travels to Miami, Hawaii, Trump Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, and even flying in a seaplane. Leading by example and demonstrating firsthand, General Manager Wang generously imparted life wisdom to the group. He also provided thoughtful and detailed answers to various questions raised by the participants—ranging from business strategies and mentoring newcomers to investment opportunities and children’s education—leaving everyone thoroughly enlightened. In life, we must keep striving forward; if we don’t move ahead, we’ll fall behind. There’s no such thing as an easy win—only the harder we work, the luckier we’ll become.

(Presidential Sharing and Exchange Meeting)
In the afternoon, under the guidance of General Manager Wang, we visited Mì Bookstore, which has been honored with the title of “China’s Most Beautiful Bookstore” for three consecutive years. The bookstore’s interior design is exceptionally creative. We ordered an afternoon tea at the Mì Café area and enjoyed reading in the cozy, spacious, and tranquil café—experiencing the delightful ease of stealing half a day away from the hustle and bustle of life.

After our visit to the bookstore, we headed to the NIO showroom. The design ethos of the ET7 series of new-energy vehicles was truly breathtaking. Cutting-edge technological features—such as intelligent ambient lighting throughout the vehicle, frameless electric suction doors, and a floating-screen design—completely shattered conventional expectations. We couldn't resist taking the ET7 for a test drive, fully savoring the novelty and excitement that future technology has to offer.

Mr. Lin will lead a session on “Supplier Management and Collaboration,” focusing on how to effectively manage relationships with senior, mid-level, and frontline personnel at the supplier level. Drawing on questions submitted by participants prior to the session, Mr. Lin will conduct an in-depth discussion and analysis, helping attendees resolve their lingering doubts. Mr. Lin’s teaching style is both insightful and easy to understand, rich in content, highly targeted, instructive, and practical. This enables participants to start from a higher vantage point and excel in supplier management. During the session, You Rongzhu, General Manager of Dongguan Dasheng, and Wang Hailong, General Manager of Xi’an Zhengyi Long, also shared valuable insights based on their own experiences, working together to devise strategies for achieving mutual win-win cooperation between both sides.

Training Director: “Social Etiquette Skills.” Social etiquette is not merely about manners at banquets and dining tables—it’s also about managing relationships between people. Through rich case analyses presented on-site and simulated interactions between trainees and instructors, participants gained a deep, empathetic understanding of the importance of social etiquette, learned how to engage in it effectively, and discovered ways to enhance its quality.

General Peng: “Interdepartmental Communication and Collaboration”—using mind maps, this course systematically analyzes the importance of interdepartmental communication and shares relevant workplace skills and experience. To successfully complete a complex task, collaboration among different departments or organizations is essential; only through the division of labor among various specialties can we achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness. In the process of interdepartmental cooperation, when encountering obstacles and challenges, as a leader, it’s less about assigning blame and more about how to coordinate resources from all sides to resolve these issues.

(At General Peng’s lecture)
General Hu: “Reporting and Managing Upward” explains how to allocate resources wisely, turn your weaknesses into strengths, leverage resources to enhance work efficiency, and demonstrate your own value. When working with leaders, learn to adapt to their principles and approaches. When encountering problems, don’t let emotions influence the content of your communication; strive to be objective in your statements, express your feelings honestly, clearly articulate your needs, and make specific requests.

On April 29, the final day of this event, participants from the "Gezhi Class & Senior Manager Class" and the "Reserve Manager Class" each delivered their respective reports and shared their insights.
Gezhi Class & Senior Manager Class: Presentations and exchanges were conducted in small groups. After a night of brainstorming, the four groups shared their insights and learning experiences. General Manager Lin, General Manager You, and General Manager Hailong provided comments and guidance to the four groups from different perspectives. Through this training, participants gained a fresh perspective on supplier management and opened up new ways of thinking about supplier management.

(Group presentation and sharing session)
Reserve Manager Class: The participants gathered at the Guangfo Heart Exhibition Hall—a beautifully landscaped, high-end venue—to share their insights. Everyone summarized and reflected on their learning over the past few days, drawing on their own experiences to contribute to the discussion. Each participant greatly benefited from the mutual exchanges, as well as from the insightful comments provided by the two mentors, Director Lian Zong and Director Peng Zong. At the end of the session, participants voted to select outstanding students, who were then presented with carefully chosen books by the two mentors to further support their growth.

(Student Sharing Report)
With each external training session, everyone’s capabilities and horizons are steadily improving. The progress of the company’s middle management team is the very foundation for the company’s growth and strength.
Broaden your horizons, elevate your perspective, and pursue a steady path of development together toward a shared future. We believe that during these three days of meetings and learning, all members of the Zhengda community, as they look back on the past and look forward to the future, will gain a deeper understanding of how to turn goals into action and dreams into reality. The harder you strive, the luckier you’ll be—Zhengda people, keep moving forward!
