Great News—We warmly congratulate Liu Jun and Song Miaocui from Zhengyi Automation for achieving outstanding results in the 2022 Siemens DI Distributor Industrial Knowledge Challenge: Liu Jun took second place in the Technical Track, while Song Miaocui secured third place in the Sales Track!
(1) A brand-new competition format—setting sail against the wind.
Grab the tail end of summer—here it comes: the 2022 Siemens DI Distributor Industrial Knowledge Challenge!
Compared to previous competition formats, this year’s event not only continues to hold competitions across the five existing regions but also breaks away from the original mixed-track setup by introducing two separate tracks—one for sales personnel and another for technical staff. As a result, the number of finalists has doubled, and the number of awards has also doubled; at the same time, the intensity of the elimination rounds has similarly doubled.
The innovative changes to the competition format reflect Siemens’ steadily increasing demands for greater specialization in both the sales and technical capabilities of its distributors. At the same time, these changes have created a platform for sales and technical professionals working with Siemens products to showcase their talents and expertise. The service philosophy—rooted in product excellence and focused on customer needs—is also being further promoted and deepened through this competition.
Faced with entirely new challenges, our participating colleagues once again delivered outstanding performances. In the PK elimination round, Zhengda Automation secured all five spots available in the South China sales track—no other team managed to claim even a single one. The technical track was equally impressive: out of the five qualifying spots for South China, Zhengda Automation and Dongguan Dasheng each took two, jointly occupying the top four positions in the technical track. In total, nine Zhengda colleagues made it through to the finals.
In the final showdown on the 29th, Liu Jun and Song Miaocui from Zhengyi Automation achieved impressive results—placing second in the technical track and third in the sales track—in the fierce competition against top contenders from all over!

Yet behind the glory of being crowned lies an unknown, 200-percent, all-out commitment to preparation. From the warm-up matches that served as a first taste of competition, to the intense and thrilling head-to-head elimination rounds, and finally to the live, self-answered final—every contestant remained on high alert throughout the tightly packed competition schedule.

(2) Remain relentlessly prepared and build up strength for a breakthrough.
Despite the intense pressure of the competition, our participating colleagues are by no means taking their preparations lightly—and this also presents a valuable opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the product and solidify their product knowledge.
Take the colleagues at Zhengyi Automation as an example: During preparation for the challenge competition, they took knowledge sharing to the extreme—screenshoting questions and compiling them into a shared question bank that everyone could access. They also updated the bank in real time based on actual responses to the questions.
In addition, Liu Jun from Zhengyi Automation shared his preparation experience. Besides using the question bank for preparation, he also identifies and fills in knowledge gaps based on feedback from real-world scenarios during the challenge competitions, stays abreast of changes in product standards, and ensures he’s fully confident and well-prepared.

(3) Heaven rewards those who work diligently; abundant fruits are reaped.
Effort never betrays those who are earnest, and throughout this competition, the company has consistently achieved remarkable successes.
In the breakout qualifying round of the South China regional sales track, Zheng Yi Da Automation secured an unshakable and outstanding performance, taking all five available advancement spots. Among them, Song Miaocui from Zheng Yi Da Automation topped the rankings with a remarkable score of 318 points in a single round and a record-breaking time of just 15 seconds and 485 milliseconds.

In the technology track, Zhengyi Automation and Dongguan Dasheng took first and second places, respectively, while Daxing Automation and Dongguan Dasheng ranked third and fourth. Among them, Deng Junwen from Zhengyi Automation topped the leaderboard with a single-match highest score of 319 points and the shortest time of just 13.883 seconds.

Finally, in the finals held on the morning of the 29th, Liu Jun from Zhengyi Automation and Song Miaocui delivered outstanding performances, standing out from a field of highly competitive rivals to secure impressive second place in the technical track and third place in the sales track, respectively. With this, the Siemens DI Distributor Industrial Knowledge Challenge for the Class of 2022 has come to a successful conclusion.
However, learning has no limits, and the way of heaven rewards those who work diligently. Behind every joy of success lies effort that is no less than anyone else’s. The remarkable achievements attained by Zheng Yi Automation and Dongguan Dasheng in competitions are underpinned by their robust sales and technical capabilities, which provide crucial support. Moreover, the continuous investment and nurturing of their own sales and technical strengths are precisely the ever-flowing source of vitality that enables Zheng Yi Automation and Dongguan Dasheng to sustain long-term performance!
