Gathering together to celebrate the Spring Festival—Zhengda Machinery & Electronics’ 2023 Spring Festival Gala was a complete success!
Welcome the New Year, Celebrate the New Year
Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. officially resumed work on the seventh day of the first lunar month in the Year of Gui Mao—the Rabbit Year (January 28, 2023). To welcome the arrival of the new year, the company held a series of live-streamed New Year greetings events that morning. The event was divided into two halves and broadcast live throughout, combining online and offline formats to extend New Year greetings to colleagues at branches across the country.
[First Half]
At 7:30 a.m., the directors and general managers of various departments gathered in front of the main entrance on the first floor of Zero One Science and Technology Park, where they handed out “kai men li si” (lucky money for the start of the year) to each employee as they arrived one by one. Everyone exchanged greetings, creating an exceptionally lively atmosphere. Colleagues who received red envelopes were all smiling happily. Distributing red envelopes on the first day of work has long been a cherished tradition at the company. It not only lets employees feel the company’s warmth but also motivates everyone to muster up their energy and enthusiastically dive into the new year’s work with a fresh spirit.

At 7:58, the first morning training session of the New Year was kicked off on the 10th floor. Through live streaming, colleagues from branch offices were able to join in and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the morning training at the Foshan headquarters. Lin Yi, General Manager of Zero One Industry (hereinafter referred to as “General Manager Lin”), also extended New Year greetings to everyone, expressing his hope that all our aspirations would come true. He then led the general managers of various subordinate units in handing out New Year red envelopes to everyone, and everyone was immersed in the joy of grabbing these lucky red envelopes.
At 8:15, everyone spontaneously gathered on the 11th floor to wish Happy New Year to President Wang Zhenghu of Zhengda Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “President Wang”). President Wang was delighted to interact with everyone, personally creating a group chat and distributing WeChat red envelopes. He also led the group on a tour, pointing out inspiring quotes displayed on the walls of the 11th floor. Following in President Wang’s footsteps, the “New Year Greeting Team” moved from one floor to another, offering New Year greetings, handing out red envelopes, and sending heartfelt blessings. Throughout the company, enthusiastic cheers and well-wishes echoed continuously!

[Second Half]
As time marches on, heaven and earth are perpetually renewed. Amid the resolute footsteps of progress, we together step through the threshold into the New Year of 2023.
At 8:50, leaders from Foshan once again gathered together on the 4th floor, while branch offices outside the city joined online simultaneously, sharing enthusiastically various interesting and exciting stories that happened during the Spring Festival.
First, General Lin delivered a New Year’s greeting to all employees. In his speech, he shared with everyone his reflections on reading during the Spring Festival. While striving hard, we’re also searching for lifestyles, working styles, and hobbies that we truly enjoy.
Subsequently, the representatives present at the scene also took the floor one after another, sharing their observations, experiences, reflections, and insights from the Spring Festival period. Since joining Charoen Pokphand, the company’s culture of diligence and positive energy has inspired everyone to celebrate the Spring Festival in healthier ways.

Next, we’ll connect live with colleagues from our various branches to hear their stories from the Spring Festival period, learn about the diverse regional customs surrounding the Chinese New Year, and together experience the rich and colorful tapestry of Chinese New Year culture. At the same time, we’ll subtly realize that we’re living in an era unlike any seen in a century—and that the happy life we enjoy today is precisely the greatest gift this era has bestowed upon each of us. As we step into the new year, everyone at Daren will remain as committed as ever to cultivating gratitude in our hearts and consistently putting gratitude into action!

Following that, President Wang delivered his New Year’s address, sharing with everyone the traditional customs of past Chinese New Years and emphasizing the importance of effective time management during the Spring Festival—making diligence a lifelong habit. Today, as technology and living conditions continue to evolve, family reunions are no longer confined to the Lunar New Year or one’s hometown. Yet this year, during the Spring Festival, we’ve once again upheld tradition by surrounding ourselves with people who are far more accomplished than ourselves. President Wang also shared once again his insights on child-rearing, encouraging us to foster a strong family ethos of resilience, willingness to endure hardship, acceptance of occasional sacrifices, and a relentless pursuit of learning—qualities that will help our children grow up healthy and thrive! In the limited time available, President Wang managed to impart valuable, practical advice to us, leaving each of us deeply enriched and inspired.

Go out for a group visit and celebrate the Spring Festival together.
Finally, representatives from the Foshan headquarters divided into three groups and headed to the Shunde branch, Dongguan Dasheng, Zhengyi Sheng, Tongde Bearing Company, and the logistics center, respectively, to extend New Year greetings and well wishes to colleagues who were unable to attend the group celebration in person at the headquarters.
President Wang led representatives from various functional departments to Shunde, where they engaged in open and candid communication with all colleagues from three business units: the Shunde Branch, the Siemens Motor Division, and the Zhongshan Office of Zhengyi Automation. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and lively conversation, fostering enhanced mutual understanding and enabling everyone to learn from one another and reflect on their own practices. During this session, President Wang once again clarified the company’s corporate culture: “The harder we work, the luckier we become.” He emphasized that serving our customers and deepening our expertise are key principles, and the contents of the employee handbook will serve us well throughout our entire careers.
General Lin, together with Lian Canhuan and Peng Jinsong, Deputy General Managers of Zero One Industry, along with representatives from Zero One’s functional departments, visited Dashing, Zhengyi Sheng, and Tongde Bearing in Dongguan to exchange greetings and celebrate the Spring Festival. They also held a symposium to share insights and offer encouragement to employees, asking questions such as: “What professional achievement are you most proud of?” and “In 2023, if you’d like to be promoted to supervisor, what areas do you think you need to improve personally?” Through this interactive Q&A session, employees were able to clarify their career goals, identify their professional strengths, and pinpoint their paths forward.
