To summarize the achievements of the past year and look forward to the new year, from January 12 to January 14, 2023, Zhengda Machinery & Electronics held the “Strive for the Future—Build Our Dreams—Zhengda Machinery & Electronics 2022 Year-End Training and Activities” in a hybrid online-and-offline format. The event consisted of three main components: year-end training, a year-end summary conference, and a Spring Festival gala.

Year-End Training Series

From January 12 to 14, employees at all levels of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. gathered online to participate in a two-and-a-half-day year-end training series. The training was broadly divided into three sections—Strategy, Sales, and Technology—and comprised a total of ten specialized training sessions. The sessions were led by 14 instructors, including Wang Zhenghu, President of Foshan Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Guangdong Zero One Industrial Technology Co., Ltd.; Lin Yi, Director and General Manager of Zero One Industrial; and others, who generously shared their expertise and delivered a series of engaging and insightful courses for the employees.

At the strategic level, we will conduct three specialized training sessions aimed at all managers at the director level and above across the company, covering topics such as corporate culture, management experience, and financial knowledge.

The first session, personally taught by President Wang, was titled “Enhancing Personal Character and Practicing Diligence—Personal and Organizational Growth in the Context of Rapid Development.” The course was divided into three main parts. First, Deputy Director Meng Xianglu from the Human Resources Department of Zero One Industry introduced the job-level system officially launched in 2023, helping employees clearly understand their career advancement paths within the company. Next, Deputy Manager Liu Hongxia from the Human Resources Department shared, from an external perspective, the achievements and inspiring stories behind six company directors and seven outstanding mid- and lower-level employees. A common thread running through these stories was diligence and strong personal character—qualities that are truly worth learning from for everyone. Finally, the “grand finale” began: President Wang, as the leader of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd., shared his own vivid life experiences—from middle school through university, from working for others to starting his own business—offering firsthand insights into how one must put forth no less effort than anyone else in pursuing one’s goals. While staying focused on the task at hand, he emphasized the importance of keeping one’s eyes on the bigger picture, accumulating experience through various means, broadening one’s horizons, and gaining deeper insights. He firmly believed that the harder you work, the luckier you’ll become; the more self-disciplined you are, the freer you’ll feel. During the interactive session that followed, President Wang also addressed some of the questions submitted by participants in advance.

The second session, titled “Being the Engine of the Team—Professional Mindsets and Work Habits for Managers,” was presented by General Manager Lin. From the perspective of the company’s development, and drawing on the company’s current stage of growth as well as his own years of hands-on experience, General Manager Lin distilled valuable insights and lessons learned, sharing with everyone the professional mindsets and good work habits that managers should cultivate. This session aims to help participants clarify their blind spots in thinking, identify work habits that can enhance efficiency, and ensure that each individual has a clearer direction and smoother path forward, keeping pace with the company’s rapid growth and achieving win-win outcomes for both the company and themselves.

The third session, titled “Business Drivers Behind Financial Data,” was presented by Chen Songwen, Deputy Director of the Finance Department at Zero One Industries. In his presentation, Director Chen covered three key areas: interpreting financial statements, implementing refined financial management, and exploring how companies can sustain profitability. This session helped managers gain a deeper understanding of the company’s operational status as reflected in financial data and learn how to delve into the business operations level, enabling them to formulate appropriate business strategies and thereby fostering faster and more robust growth in future business endeavors.

[Sales Section]

At the sales level, we will conduct two specialized training sessions and one thematic sharing session for all sales personnel across the company, providing targeted guidance and practical insights on topics such as new market development, sales techniques, and the growth of new hires, tailored to employees at different stages of their career development.

The first session, titled “The Wild Growth of New Regions on the ‘Ordinary Road,’” was delivered by Wu Yuhui, General Manager of Wuxi Lingdian, drawing on his team’s two years of experience in rapid growth. Using vivid and engaging analogies, he provided a clear and insightful explanation from four perspectives—mindset, action, time, and wild growth—emphasizing the importance of always maintaining an open and humble mindset, racing against time while you’re young; staying grounded and keeping your feet firmly planted, for the path will naturally emerge beneath them; and holding firm to your beliefs, as this will unlock limitless potential.

The second session, titled “The Growth Curve of Sales Competencies,” was presented by Deputy Manager Hong Jianwu from Dongguan Dasheng. Starting with the widely known concept of “Challenging Sales,” the session explored the stages a sales professional goes through—from novice salesperson to qualified salesperson, then to mature salesperson, and finally to value-driven salesperson—detailing the qualities and capabilities that should be cultivated at each stage. Additionally, through sharing relevant case studies, the session delved into the meaning and significance of resource value. We firmly believe that only by continuously learning, practicing, and striving for improvement—by consistently honing our business skills—can we remain at the pinnacle of success.

The third session is a special sharing event titled “2022 Sales Champions’ Insights—How to Quickly Transform from a Sales Newcomer into a Sales Expert,” jointly presented by five sales champions of 2022. Liu Ying, Deputy Manager from Changsha Lingyi, shared her personal growth journey since joining CP Group, as well as her daily practices in developing key accounts and maintaining strong, close relationships with clients. Liu Fu, a sales engineer from Chengdu Nengda, delivered a presentation covering five aspects: sales concepts, methodologies, transformations, case studies, and growth advice. Through his sharing, participants realized that there are no shortcuts to success and no overnight victories—only through hard work and perseverance can we achieve our goals and dreams. Zhang Meiyi, Sales Manager from CP Group Automation, and Zhang Haojie, a sales engineer from Siemens Business Unit, shared their journeys—from fresh college graduates stepping into the workforce, gradually evolving into experienced professionals, and now even becoming seasoned mentors capable of guiding newcomers. Peng Tao, Sales Manager from Wuxi Lingdian, shared practical insights and tips from his experience in the sales industry, covering pre-sales, in-sales, and post-sales stages. Let us take inspiration from those who excel and walk alongside outstanding individuals, drawing strength from their examples. We look forward to seeing more colleagues become role models for everyone next year, striving together, and discovering even better versions of ourselves.

[Technical Section]

On the technical level, as one of this year’s major innovations, a total of four specialized training sessions were conducted for the company’s technical staff.

The first session, titled “Professional Standards and Working Methods for Engineers,” will be delivered by a third-party consultant. The session will cover three key aspects: professional standards, mindset and work environment, and the GROW model. It will analyze how to foster an engineers’ alliance, guide the direction of development, and help everyone become an integrated, collaboratively growing entity; how to find joy in one’s work; and how to enhance cutting-edge technologies and specialized engineering skills geared toward the future, thereby achieving outstanding value for both the company and its customers.

The second session, titled “Application of the Siemens S120 System in Wire Drawing Machines for the Metalworking Industry,” was presented by Zhang Shaorong, Technical Manager at Zhengyi Automation. Manager Zhang provided a detailed overview covering various aspects, including industry equipment, equipment processes, drive selection, and system configuration. He also patiently and thoroughly answered questions submitted by participants prior to the session. Colleagues expressed that they found the session highly engaging and immensely beneficial, leaving them eager for more.

The third session, titled “Siemens TIA Portal Programming Applications,” was presented by Zhang Min, a senior technical engineer from Changsha Lingyi. Zhang Min provided detailed insights into the new features of TIA Portal V18, the use of the programming software, and standardized programming practices. Through hands-on demonstrations, she helped participants gain a more intuitive understanding of how to operate the software.

The fourth session, titled “Application of Simotion + S120 in Flexographic Printers,” was presented by Yang Liubin, Technical Director at Dongguan Dasheng. Through sharing development case studies from flexographic printing projects, Director Yang provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s initiation background, process details, specific solutions, and strategies for addressing project challenges. He also highlighted the growth potential of flexographic printing in today’s packaging industry, which can open up opportunities for future market expansion.

Year-End Summary Meeting Section

Looking back on 2022, thanks to the concerted efforts of all Zhengda employees, the company made comprehensive progress in all its operations and fully advanced its strategic initiatives. Despite challenging market conditions, Zhengda achieved robust growth in 2022, once again writing a new chapter of glory. Among them, Zero One Industrial saw year-on-year growth exceeding 28%, delivering impressive and commendable results. On the afternoon of January 14, the “Chase the Future, Build Dreams” Zhengda Mechatronics 2022 Year-End Summary Conference was grandly held at the main venue—the International Conference Center on the 4th floor of Building 1 at Zero One Science and Technology Park. The conference adopted a hybrid online-and-offline format, with three sub-venues at Zhengda’s Foshan headquarters and seven additional branch venues located in Dongguan, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuxi, Jinan, and Xiamen, all holding their meetings simultaneously. More than 550 representatives—including leaders and staff from various units under Zhengda Mechatronics—attended the conference.

At the start of the meeting, Director Lei Yuqiang from the Human Resources Department of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics delivered the opening address, encouraging all Zhengda employees to remain humble and patient, stay ambitious and proactive, and continue creating new brilliance for the next 25-year milestone. Following that, Mr. Lin Yi, General Manager of Zero One Industry in the Industrial Sector, gave a keynote speech titled “Rushing Toward the Future, Building Our Dreams.”

In 2022, under the leadership of General Manager Lin and with the joint efforts of the general managers of all modules under Zero One Industries, we adhered to the company’s development strategy of “seeking growth through stability and pursuing stability through growth.” Undaunted by difficulties, we turned challenges into opportunities, enabling Zero One Industries to achieve yet another record-high performance in 2022. First, General Manager Lin reviewed Zero One Industries’ 2022 performance and reflected on the past year’s work. Building on Zero One’s rapid growth momentum, General Manager Lin then set forth ambitious development targets of 3 billion, 5 billion, and 10 billion, and provided a detailed analysis and elaboration on Zero One Industries’ next key priorities. With organizational and professional capabilities at the core, he put forward new requirements for all members of Zero One across multiple dimensions—including human resources, management systems, performance enhancement, and corporate culture.

After listening to General Lin’s summary, the heads of Dongguan Dasheng, Chengdu Nengda, Zhengyi Automation, Changsha Lingyi, and Wuxi Lingdian—companies under Lingyi Industry—shared their valuable insights and experiences gained over the past year as their respective teams have grown. All five speakers unanimously emphasized the critical role that teams play in a company’s development, and highlighted that young people are the company’s greatest asset—indeed, young people and the company together will shape the future.

As a key business segment of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics, the investment division has achieved remarkable results since its establishment. Following the previous sharing, Ms. Zhang Junjing, General Manager of the Investment Development Department at Zhengda Machinery & Electronics, summarized the 2022 performance in primary equity investments, secondary industry research, and supply-chain investments, and also outlined the development goals for 2023.

Next, Manager Zhou Zhenyin from the Zero One Industrial Audit Department and Deputy Director Meng Xianglu from the Human Resources Department each delivered a summary of their 2022 work and a outlook for 2023. As important components of the functional departments, both guests outlined detailed action plans for 2023 aimed at empowering and expanding the company’s business operations in a standardized manner.

Finally, President Wang Zhenghu of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics delivered a keynote speech titled “Keeping Pace with the Times: A Virtuous Cycle—Year-End Summary for 2022 and Outlook for 2023.” First, President Wang summarized the past year of 2022 from three perspectives: his personal efforts to continue building and leading his team, the company’s formulation of strategies and implementation of digital transformation, and the celebration of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Next, President Wang outlined the work directions for 2023 at the individual, corporate, and national levels, focusing on three key areas: broadening our global perspective and enhancing innovative thinking; fully implementing strategy-driven initiatives and accelerating digital upgrades; and courageously embracing our responsibility for the rejuvenation of the nation. Finally, President Wang expressed gratitude toward the successive generations of national leaders who have led us to stand tall, grow prosperous, and become strong; he also expressed gratitude toward the nation, his colleagues at the company, society, and this inspiring era that motivates us all to strive forward.

The achievements of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of every single employee. Following that, leaders at all levels of the company held a grand awards ceremony to recognize individuals and teams that had overachieved their targets, star-rated general managers, outstanding new hires, as well as top-performing individuals and teams in the knowledge competition. At the conclusion of the event, the company renewed the 2023 business responsibility agreements with each business division. The exciting moments of signing these agreements were pre-recorded and shared live on-site. In addition, this meeting featured a carefully curated video compilation—“Team Spirit Showcase”—created and produced collaboratively by the company’s 27 subsidiaries, branches, and departments, vividly highlighting the remarkable strengths and unwavering commitment of every team member! New Year Gala Episode

After the year-end summary meeting concluded, all Zhengda employees followed the trajectory of the sand art to collectively reminisce about the various activities held during the 25th-anniversary celebration. At the same time, the 2023 Spring Festival Gala of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics officially kicked off in grand style. This gala was broadcast simultaneously online and offline. Subsidiaries, branches, and departments located outside the Foshan region set up sub-venues to join their colleagues in Foshan for the live-streamed 2023 Spring Festival Gala. Centered around the annual theme “Chase the Future—Build Our Dreams,” senior executives—including Wang Zhenghu, President of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics and Chairman of Zero One Industry; Lin Yi, Director and General Manager of the Industrial Division; Shi Hao, Independent Director of the Industrial Division and General Manager of Foshan Bearing; and Lei Yuqiang, HR Director and General Manager of Property Development at Zhengda Machinery & Electronics—as well as Zhengda employees and their family members, totaling over 1,000 people, celebrated the Spring Festival both online and offline.

The celebration began with a speech by General Manager Lin, who extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to all family members—both those present in person and those joining online. General Manager Lin pointed out that the company’s continuous breaking of sales records over the past several years would not have been possible without the spirit of our colleagues, who have consistently striven for excellence. He also expressed deep appreciation for the support provided by our customers, suppliers, and various sectors of society. Immediately afterward, Mr. Liu Likang, General Manager of the South China Sales Region at Siemens DI Group, sent a congratulatory video. In his message, Mr. Liu first wished everyone a happy and prosperous Year of the Rabbit, good health, and happiness for their families. In 2022, ZeroOne Industrial achieved remarkable results, with rapid growth across all business unit product lines. Among these achievements, Zhengyi Automation successfully joined the “Platinum Club,” and the ZeroOne Industrial Motor Retrofit Center was officially completed. The substantial investment in R&D and other areas has laid a solid foundation for the company’s further development. Although 2023 is still full of both opportunities and challenges, Mr. Liu expressed high praise for ZeroOne Industrial’s “Five New Mergers and Acquisitions” strategy and firmly believes that, with everyone’s joint efforts, ZeroOne Industrial will surely seize these opportunities, thrive in the new year, and continue to achieve outstanding accomplishments.

Afterward, all subsidiaries, branch companies, and departments under Zhengda sent New Year greetings to the Zhengda family members in the form of VCR clips and other media, expressing their hopes and best wishes for Zhengda’s continued development.

Next, the list of outstanding employees for 2022 was announced. Gu Hong and Wei Feng, representatives of the outstanding employees from the branch offices, and Zhang Haojie, representative of the outstanding employees from the headquarters, delivered their acceptance speeches. All three representatives expressed their gratitude to the company’s leadership and colleagues for their careful guidance and support, and shared their great joy at having contributed value to the company while also achieving personal growth. In 2023, they pledged to work together with the company and our clients to build a brighter future and realize our shared dreams. They also wished everyone good health and rapid advancement in the coming year 2023.

Following that, Mr. Lei reported on the use of the “Learning and Growth Fund” for 2022 and wished the children to continue their efforts in studying and strive for continuous improvement every day. This year, we’ve increased our shareholding and added 27 new shareholders.
