The annual knowledge quiz celebrating the 25th anniversary of ZeroOne Industry, as well as the inaugural knowledge quiz, has concluded successfully.
The bitter winter has arrived, and the north wind has begun to blow—yet all things seem to retreat into their hidden realms. Still, our insatiable thirst for knowledge has not been halted by frost, wind, rain, or the ravages of the pandemic. Every single step we’ve taken forward remains vividly visible even in the depths of winter.
On December 12, 2022, the annual knowledge competition celebrating the 25th anniversary—titled “Competing for the Top Spot: Who Can Rival Us?”—and the inaugural knowledge competition officially kicked off online. This ten-day feast of knowledge has now officially begun. The competition is divided into two tracks—automation and motor—based on specialized professional fields, and a total of nearly 200 contestants are taking part.
It is precisely because of the difficulties that courage and determination shine even brighter; it is through trials and tribulations that true excellence is achieved. During the first round of practice matches, the participants were eager to get started, eagerly jumping into the practice sessions one after another. In this intense competition marked by everyone striving to outdo each other, the total number of practice sessions reached nearly 40,000, with each participant averaging over 220 practice sessions. Ultimately, the Wuxi Lingdian team won the “From Zero to One Participation Award” for both tracks in the practice competition, earning a total prize money of 4,000 yuan.

After a week of intensive training through practice matches, the competition entered its second stage—the preliminary round. In this stage, competitors faced off in head-to-head matchups, engaging in intense and direct battles against one another. Each competitor demonstrated remarkable strength and exceptional talent, continually breaking personal bests in both score and time. Ultimately, 30 competitors from each track successfully advanced to the finals. Among them, Liang Yongzhen (Zhengyi Automation) on the automation track and Zeng Zhenyu (Zhengyi Sheng) & Gao Yuqing (Fujian Haizhi) on the motor track not only achieved perfect scores but also stood out prominently from the rest of the field. On the team level, the Wuxi Lingdian team emerged victorious, winning the “Chasing Wind and Lightning Team Award” in the preliminary round and once again securing a total prize money of 4,000 yuan.

The intense battle is in full swing. After dozens of days of fierce competition, the showdown at the pinnacle has grown even more heated. The moment to witness true strength has finally arrived—the ultimate clash between the kings will take place on December 22nd. Thirty contestants from various departments, representing two distinct tracks, have advanced to the finals. They raced against time and gave their all, ultimately producing ten outstanding winners in the Automation Track and the Motor Track respectively. Congratulations to all the winning contestants and exceptional teams for their remarkable achievements in this competition—may they become the ultimate champions who have reached the pinnacle of Zero One!
For all the winning contestants and teams, this is not just about reaping substantial prize money—it’s also about earning profound honor and recognition! In just ten days of competition, despite the first wave of “mildly positive” cases hitting society amid the pandemic, many contestants inevitably became infected. Yet they persevered, continuing to compete while ill—their diligent efforts in answering questions and their unwavering spirit of hard work brought a perfect conclusion to the annual knowledge quiz celebrating ZeroOne Industry’s 25th anniversary and marking the inaugural edition of this knowledge contest, fully demonstrating the team spirit of the “ZeroOneers”!
Learning is a lifelong journey—from childhood to old age. Although the competition has come to an end, our pursuit of knowledge has never ceased.
