Steadily Enhancing, Jointly Creating Brilliance—The 4th Training Session of the 3rd Reserve Cadre Class Concludes Successfully
Steadily advancing, let’s create brilliance together! From April 14 to 16, the fourth training session of the 3rd Reserve Cadre Class kicked off. Fifty-four trainees from branch companies across the country gathered in Zhaoqing for a two-day training program. This training session was divided into four main components: an educational tour of Dinghu Mountain, “Midnight Conversations” at 12 o’clock, classroom learning, and sharing & reporting sessions. With the support and cooperation of General Manager Peng Jinsong, General Manager Lian Canhuan, company leaders, and all the trainees, this training session was a complete success.

[ Dinghu Mountain Study Tour 】
At 1:30 p.m., all the trainees arrived at Dinghu Mountain, located in the northeastern part of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. Dinghu Mountain is the only oasis along the Tropic of Cancer, and for this reason, it is also known as the “Emerald Gem on the Tropic of Cancer.”
Led by the tour guide, the participants visited Baoding Garden, Dinghu Mountain, Qingyun Temple, and Feishuitan, where they admired spectacular sights such as the Dragon Emperor Giant Inkstone and the Nine-Dragon Treasure Cauldron. Amidst laughter and cheerful chatter, they fully experienced the unique charm of the Chinese nation, strengthening their national and cultural confidence. While fostering closer bonds among the participants, this excursion also broadened their horizons.

[ Night Talk at Midnight 】
Following the welcome dinner on the 14th, in line with the company’s culture of hard work and diligence, the trainees continued with the “Midnight Chat” session at 8:00 p.m. During this session, participants discussed and shared insights around outstanding post-class assignments from the third executive development program, as well as their personal highlights and darkest moments in life. The session was further enlivened by performances showcasing the trainees’ talents, striking a perfect balance between learning from each other’s experiences and enjoying some leisure time. The first day of the executive development training came to an end at midnight—24:00...
After the 15th-day course concludes, the “Night Talk at Midnight” session will continue at 8:30 p.m. All participants will be divided into eight small groups to engage in discussions. The focus will be on reviewing and summarizing the content of the two courses studied during the day. Members will share their experiences and learn from one another across groups, deepening their understanding of the training material through the exchange of ideas. They will also prepare materials for the next day’s sharing and presentation.

[ Course Study
At dawn, the Seven Star Rocks boast exceptionally fresh air, with layers of mist and clouds lingering between the mountains and waters, creating a scene that seems like a fairyland on earth.
Before classes on the 15th and 16th, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., all participants will gather together to take a morning run around the picturesque shores of Qixingyan Lake, strengthening their bodies, honing their willpower, and savoring the breathtaking beauty created by the harmonious blend of culture and nature.

This training session features two courses: “Listening and Expression” and “Social Etiquette Skills.” To ensure effective instruction, participants are divided into two groups—Group A and Group B—and take turns attending small-group classes.
"Listening and Expression"
The course “Listening and Expression” is taught by General Peng. First, General Peng highlighted a current social issue: people are losing their ability to listen!
Mr. Peng used this as a starting point to clarify the difference between hearing and listening: Hearing is simply the act of perceiving sounds, whereas listening involves a two-way exchange—both verbal and emotional. Mr. Peng interacted with the participants, jointly exploring the various factors that influence effective listening, and emphasized that listening is a profound art. Subsequently, Mr. Peng provided a detailed analysis of appropriate expression methods, target audiences, and communication techniques, addressing participants’ questions and concerns along the way, thereby empowering them to engage in outcome-oriented communication more effectively.
General Peng stated that listening and speaking go hand in hand. If you want to obtain more meaningful information from communication, you need to master the skills of both listening and speaking.

Social Etiquette Skills
In his lecture “Social Etiquette Skills,” General Lian immediately overturned everyone’s conventional understanding of “socializing”: Socializing isn’t merely about clinking glasses at the dinner table—it begins the moment you first interact with someone.
Director Lian demonstrated to the trainees that social interactions take many different forms—ranging from language and posture to gestures and eye contact—and every single detail can reveal a person’s skill in navigating social situations.
To help participants fully recognize the importance of mastering social skills—so they can better showcase their personal charm and advance their daily work—Director Lian presented real-life cases encountered by participants in various scenarios. Using witty and humorous language and adopting a style that is easy for participants to grasp, he influenced their perceptions of social interactions from the very root, thereby fostering their personal growth.

Finally, Manager Li and Manager Peng presented “Outstanding Assignment” awards to the two trainees who earned top marks for their excellent post-training assignments for the third time (Wu Ningwei from the Foreign Trade Department and Chen Weizhong from Dongguan Dasheng). They also awarded “Outstanding Trainee” honors to those who demonstrated particularly outstanding performance during this training session (Zhang Haojie from the Siemens Department, He Qingsong from Chengdu Nengda, Liu Peilin from Jiangxi Lingyi, Wang Qi from Zhengyi Automation, Hai Zhi Gao Yuqing from Fujian, and Cai Chengzhi from Wuxi Lingdian).

Thus, the 4th training session for the reserve cadre program has come to a successful conclusion. Although the training is now over, our journey of learning will never cease. Diligent study is like a seedling sprouting in spring—though you may not immediately see its growth, it steadily gains strength day by day! Just like these seedlings, the participants have continuously absorbed nourishment throughout this training, rapidly developing into the company’s key pillars and mainstays!
