Elevating Our Vision, Building Dreams Together—The 5th Training Session of the 3rd Reserve Cadre Class Concludes Successfully
Elevate Our Vision, Together We Build Dreams! From June 30 to July 2, the fifth training session of the 3rd Reserve Cadre Class kicked off with great fanfare. Fifty-four trainees from branch companies across the country gathered in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, for a 2.5-day training program. This training session was divided into four main components: a study tour visiting the Kaiping Diaolou, an exchange meeting with President Wang, classroom learning, and sharing & reporting sessions. With the strong support and cooperation of President Wang Zhenghu, General Manager Lin Yi, General Manager Wang Yijian, the Human Resources Department, and all the trainees, this training session was a complete success.

01 [Kaiping Diaolou Study Tour]
To broaden the horizons of our trainees and put the company’s “721” culture into practice, the company has organized study tours for its trainees.
At 1:30 p.m. on June 30, the trainees arrived at the Kaiping Diaolou Cultural Tourism Zone. The Kaiping Diaolou is China’s 35th World Heritage Site. It represents a unique architectural art that blends traditional Chinese rural architectural culture with Western architectural styles. Today, it has become a monumental tribute to Chinese overseas Chinese culture, reflecting the journey of Chinese overseas Chinese and local residents in actively embracing Western culture.
Accompanied by their leader, the trainees jointly visited scenic gardens such as Li Garden and Zili Village, fully experiencing the harmonious blend of European charm and traditional Chinese culture. It was precisely by appreciating these masterpieces born from the wisdom of working people that the trainees broadened their horizons, deepened their heartfelt national pride, and strengthened their bonds with one another.

02 [President Wang’s Networking Meeting]
At 8:00 p.m. on the 30th, following the welcome dinner, the participants remained just as enthusiastic and promptly entered into a state of active discussion and learning. Wang Zhenghu, President of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics, along with colleagues from the Human Resources Department, attended the event and joined the participants in a thematic exchange session focused on “How to Effectively Serve as an Onboarding Mentor” and “Interpretation of the Employee Handbook & Corporate Culture.”
During the exchange, President Wang shared many successful experiences from his challenging entrepreneurial journey, and the participants actively asked questions, deeply appreciating this valuable opportunity for interaction. It was precisely because of President Wang’s keen attention that this exchange meeting was a complete success, deepening the participants’ understanding of the company’s “369 Culture” and enabling them to learn invaluable lessons about both professional success and personal conduct.

After the session ended at 10:00 p.m., all participants divided into eight groups to engage in discussions. They discussed the two courses they would be learning next, during which members exchanged ideas and learning approaches both within their own groups and across different groups. This helped them further digest the content shared during the session and also prepared them for the upcoming lessons.
03 [Course Study]
From 6:30 a.m. on the 1st to the 2nd, before starting their coursework, the participants engaged in a 30-minute morning run around the beautifully landscaped hotel. Surrounded by such picturesque scenery, the participants were inspired to summon their high spirits and enthusiasm, enabling them to greet the new day in peak condition and fully showcase the spirited demeanor of CP Group members.

The course has two main themes. To ensure effective instruction, participants are divided into two classes—Class A and Class B—and the instructor alternates between delivering small-group lessons to each class.
Lin Yi, Director and General Manager of Zero One Industry, delivered a lecture titled “Reporting Upward” to the trainee participants of the Reserve Cadre Training Program. In his lecture, Mr. Lin highlighted the key points: as a mid-level manager, one must not only know how to report upward correctly but also learn how to effectively handle reports from subordinates. He then proceeded with his lecture and shared relevant case studies on this topic.
The session covered the format, target audience, process, and subsequent follow-up and feedback for reporting. It clearly outlined the reporting skills that mid-level managers should master—ranging from presenting reports to superiors to receiving reports from subordinates. The training significantly enhanced participants’ abilities to serve as effective communicators who relay information both upward and downward. The lively and engaging teaching atmosphere, combined with practical content closely aligned with real-world work scenarios, received unanimous praise from the participants.
Thanks to General Lin’s generous and insightful instruction, the participants’ presentation skills have been further enhanced and standardized. The improvement in their presentation abilities will not only benefit themselves but will also subtly influence the presentation skills of their subordinates in future management roles, thereby enhancing their overall managerial capabilities.

To address the current situation in which the company has a relatively large number of new employees and to specifically enhance trainees’ abilities as onboarding mentors, thereby better fostering the growth of newcomers and driving the company’s development, Wang Yijian, Director and Deputy General Manager of Lingyi Industrial, delivered a course titled “How to Be an Effective Onboarding Mentor” for the trainees.
Mr. Yi Jian emphasized that as onboarding mentors, one must possess six key cognitive attributes, such as: an awareness of being a frontline manager; viewing oneself as the executing unit of the company’s strategies; embracing a growth mindset that involves transitioning from a business expert to a frontline manager; setting a role-model effect; learning how to identify and make rational use of each individual’s strengths; and proactively facing challenges. In addition, there are three essential mindsets: making work more process-oriented; taking on a supervisory role; and mastering effective mentoring techniques and methods. Finally, there are five richly detailed competencies and practices related to mentorship and knowledge transfer.
The onboarding mentor is a challenging yet crucial role that plays a pivotal part within an organization. They serve as a bridge between the company’s senior management and new employees, providing training and development for new hires, fostering team culture, and managing performance. Their competence and performance directly impact the speed of new employees’ growth as well as employee relationships.

04 [Learning-Application Sharing Session]
After two consecutive nights of in-depth discussions and studies that continued until midnight, the participants further digested the corporate cultural ethos promoted by President Wang as well as the classroom knowledge imparted by the two instructors. It was precisely because of this deepened understanding that the “Application-Oriented Sharing Session” on the third day was able to take place—serving once again as an opportunity to assess the participants’ learning outcomes.
The “Learning-into-Practice Sharing Session” officially kicked off at 8:00 a.m. on July 2. Representatives from the eight groups each delivered presentations and shared their insights. By combining course content with their own personal experiences and employing innovative scenario-based presentation methods, they demonstrated the seamless integration of practical foundations and theoretical underpinnings. General Manager Lin and General Manager Yi Jian provided corresponding guidance and supplementary remarks for each group’s presentation, helping participants deepen their understanding of the course material.

Thus, the 5th session of the Reserve Cadre Class has come to a successful conclusion. We’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our mentors for their hard work and dedication.
