Keynote Session of the Second Chapter: Riding the Wind and Racing Ahead—Unstoppable Momentum
Dali brings together the world’s finest minds to discuss matters of state; a gathering of heroes who point to the rivers and mountains. With aspirations set high, they are determined to climb to the summit—each step forward taken with courage and resolve.
In fiscal year 2023, market uncertainties—including inverted price structures, challenges facing the real estate sector, and declining exports—have posed considerable difficulties for Siemens and its distributors. Faced with these challenges, Siemens and its partners have relied on mutual trust, mutual assistance, and mutual benefit. Together, we’ve worked in unison to overcome these obstacles and move forward against the odds. This Siemens keynote conference focused on cross-selling and delved deeply into the core themes of tapping into existing market opportunities. Ten Siemens leaders, including Wang Haibin, General Manager of Siemens Digital Industries Group, and Dr. Gai Wuwei, Senior Vice President and CFO of the Digital Industries Group for Greater China, shared their insights and experiences.
The applause thundered as the protagonist made his entrance. Wang Haibin, General Manager of Siemens Digital Industries Group, delivered a keynote speech titled “An Overview of DI Business and Outlook for the New Fiscal Year.” In his presentation, General Manager Haibin focused on the development of China’s economic growth drivers—investment, consumption, and exports—over the past year and a half. Given the particularly severe downturn in exports, business opportunities for Siemens distributors will notably center on the digitalization and carbon reduction sectors, which have been steadily growing in recent years.
Meanwhile, Haibin provided a detailed overview of Siemens’ business opportunities across five major industry categories—discrete manufacturing, hybrid process industries, infrastructure, cross-industry sectors, emerging industries, and others—covering a total of 36 sub-sectors. Distributor partners are encouraged to deeply cultivate these specific sub-sectors.
The head of the coastal region further emphasized that Siemens has consistently maintained a leading position in R&D, products, industries, and emerging fields, continuously driving advancements in industry capabilities. Under the current economic downturn, distributors must remain confident in Siemens.

Dr. Gai Wuwei, Senior Vice President of Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. and CFO of the Digital Industrial Group for Greater China, Yan Liming, Director of the Collaborative Logistics Department, and Hu Jiliang, Director of the Lean Order Management Department, emphasized the transformation of the Logistics Capability Center into a logistics hub that delivers exceptional logistics services to satisfy customers, under the principle of “strengthening internal capabilities while enhancing external performance.” They also promoted the use of the Diomis rapid ordering platform among distributors.
Wang Zhiming, General Manager of the Partner Management Department of the Digital Industries Group at Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., shared an overview of the distribution business and highlighted key priorities for the new fiscal year.
In addition, each BU continues to follow the overall approach adopted by Haibin, emphasizing and highlighting the core principles of cross-selling and deepening exploration of existing market segments. This is particularly true following the integration of the ONE-PA and ONE-EP BUs, which has led to new policies for distributors in the coming year.
Wei Yuege and Liu Yuanyuan from the Factory Automation Division of Siemens Digital Industries Group shared key points on FA strategy and distributor policies, emphasizing the need to quickly clear inventory and fulfill in-transit orders for FA products.
Chen Xinguang from the Digital Industries Group, DI PA BU, Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., shared insights on ONE-PA and the new journey ahead, emphasizing how to leverage CS to seize end-customer business opportunities and enhance customer loyalty through CS.
Xu Yong, Director of the Sales Business Development Department of the Electrical Products Division, Digital Industries Group, Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., provided a detailed overview of the future development direction of ONE-EP.
Yang Dahang, General Manager of the Customer Service Department of the Digital Industries Group at Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., shared insights into the strategic priorities and key focus areas of the Customer Service Department’s distribution business.

Chapter Three: Sharing Session – Integration + Empowerment
For three consecutive years, Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries have been invited to share their success stories—covering customer management and market development—at distributor conferences. This year, Lin Yi, Director and General Manager of Guangdong Lingyi Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., and Hu Qiuyuan, General Manager of Foshan Zhengyi Automation Equipment Co., Ltd., shared their insights into how, over the past year, Foshan Zhengyi Automation has boosted sales and tapped into the full potential of its customers. Starting with the remarkable success story of collaborating with Luckin Coffee and Moutai to launch the “Sauce Aroma Latte,” which sold 5.42 million cups in a single day and achieved sales exceeding 100 million yuan for this single product, Mr. Lin and Mr. Hu each used the words “integration” and “empowerment” to explain how they’ve deepened cross-selling strategies. Integration refers to integrating with customers, integrating products, and collaborating closely with Siemens regional teams—breaking down cross-selling into specific segments and thoroughly exploring customer markets. Empowerment means empowering frontline staff through capability investment, talent development, and technological upgrades, leveraging Siemens’ software resources to help frontline personnel excel in the integration phase. With the combined effects of integration and empowerment, the sales approach has shifted from focusing on single BU products to simultaneously developing multiple BUs, making it a crucial pathway for steady growth in sales performance. Integration plus empowerment equals win-win!
