I. Summary Session: Moving Forward Against the Trend—Embracing the Present to Shape the Future
On the morning of November 4, the Q3 2023 summary conference officially kicked off at the main venue—the International Conference Center on the 4th floor of Building 1 at Lingyi Science and Technology Park. The conference adopted a hybrid online-and-offline format, with three sub-venues located at the Foshan headquarters and eight remote sub-venues in Dongguan, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuxi, Xiamen, Jinan, and Tianjin held simultaneously. More than 570 leaders and colleagues from Zhengda Machinery & Electronics and its affiliated units attended the conference.
First, Lin Yi, Director and General Manager of Zero One Industry, delivered a presentation titled “Expectations for the 2024 Budget and Our Trip to Germany.” In the first part of his talk, Mr. Lin reviewed the budget performance for 2023 and conducted an in-depth analysis from various angles, including the manufacturing PMI index, product-line sales, and order intake. He clearly outlined the budget direction for 2024: continuing to vigorously develop new industries and new products, placing particular emphasis on cross-selling initiatives, and seizing the opportunities presented by digitalization and carbon reduction. Finally, he introduced the headquarters’ empowerment and deployment plan, which will provide strong support for business growth. In the second part, Mr. Lin shared his experiences from the study tour to Germany organized by Siemens-Tsinghua Digital Leadership Academy. Through his sharing, participants not only gained a deeper understanding of the strategic and operational philosophies behind cutting-edge global factories but also experienced unique cultural characteristics, fully demonstrating the company’s globally-minded corporate culture.

Following that, Lian Canhuan, Director and Deputy General Manager of Zero One Industry, delivered a keynote speech titled “The Harder You Work, the Luckier You’ll Be.” In addition to explaining to new sales representatives how to break down and achieve their sales targets, Mr. Lian also shared his own personal growth journey. Half a year after joining the company, Mr. Lin asked him to stay at the office until 10 p.m. every night; upon returning home, he would continue working using his home computer, often keeping late into the early hours of the morning—around 1 a.m. or 2 a.m. Moreover, Mr. Lian shared with everyone the story of Mr. Lin’s motorcycle: every day, Mr. Lin rode no fewer than 200 kilometers. With vivid and engaging storytelling, Mr. Lian illustrated the importance of diligence, echoing what Kazuo Inamori once said: “Working like there’s no tomorrow when I was young is the luckiest and wisest decision I’ve ever made in my life.”
Shi Hao, independent director of Zero One Industries and General Manager of Foshan Bearing, delivered a keynote speech titled “Stable Development in a Changing Environment.” Mr. Shi provided an in-depth analysis of four major changes in the business environment and shared valuable insights on how to leverage one’s own strengths to strive for stable development amid these changes, leaving everyone deeply inspired.

Using real-world case studies, they demonstrated how they leveraged their professional expertise to address customers’ pain points and meet their needs, working together with customers to create mutually beneficial value. In addition, everyone emphasized the importance of diligence—the belief that “putting in no less effort than anyone else” is the most fundamental ingredient for achieving true value. Each of the five outstanding representatives’ presentations was brimming with invaluable experience and insightful summaries.

II. Expanded Board of Directors Meeting: Setting Strategy, Building the Team, and Leading the Staff
After the conclusion of the third-quarter summary meeting on November 4, President Wang Zhenghu and General Manager Lin Yi led the instructor team without delay to Zhuhai and the Zhongshan office of Hezheng Yida Industrial Automation for an inspection visit. They also brought along company directors, heads of several business units, and key personnel to hold an expanded board meeting lasting three days at the Lihe Westin Hotel in Zhongshan.

The meeting featured vigorous group discussions and focused presentations centered around the theme of “doubling the company’s performance.” President Wang guided everyone to put the “36 Culture” and the “721” rule into practice in their daily work. He also introduced the nine-character principle—“Define Strategy, Build a Team, Lead the Crew”—to facilitate role transformation and adjustments to the company’s organizational structure. Furthermore, he encouraged participants to adopt an empathetic mindset, think from others’ perspectives, build a core leadership team, look beyond surface-level issues to grasp the underlying essence, stay current with the times, and foster a virtuous cycle. By doing so, attendees could better understand the nine-character principle and thoughtfully address the aforementioned challenges, ensuring the successful implementation of the doubling plan!

III. Lecture Appreciation Event: Sharing Knowledge, Guiding Students, and Clarifying Doubts—We’re Grateful for You!
To express our gratitude for the selfless dedication and hard work of all instructors over the 2022-2023 period in the company’s talent development and growth, this instructor appreciation event—divided into two categories, a Zhuhai-Zhongshan tour and gift-giving—was held successfully as scheduled from November 4 to 5, based on each instructor’s contribution in terms of the number of classes taught and total teaching hours over the past two years.

In the afternoon of the 4th, a delegation of 15 lecturers—including Wang Zhenghu, founder and president of Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd., and Lin Yi, director and general manager of Zero One Industry—boarded a bus bound for Zhuhai. That evening, they attended a performance of the timeless ballet classic "Swan Lake," presented by the Mariinsky Theatre Ballet Company—one of the world's leading ballet troupes, at the Zhuhai Grand Theatre.
On the morning of the 5th, a total of 34 people—members of the lecturer group, representatives from the Zhengyi Zhongshan Office and Yidian Zhongshan Office, and expanded members of the Board of Directors—gathered at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Museum, a national first-class museum located in Zhongshan City. Together, they stepped into the very place where Mr. Sun Yat-sen lived during his lifetime, visiting sequentially the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen, the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the Cuiheng Folk Residence Exhibition Area, and the Agricultural Culture Exhibition Area. Through this visit, they paid tribute to the great man, broadened their horizons, enriched their knowledge, and deeply appreciated how hard-won our happy life is today. During the tour, they not only learned about and carried forward the thoughts and spirit of the pioneering sages but also strengthened their patriotic feelings and sense of social responsibility. Throughout the visit, President Wang attached great importance to interacting with everyone, repeatedly pausing to engage in lively exchanges and share experiences with younger colleagues. At the site of the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen, members of the Board of Directors even took inspiration from Sun Yat-sen’s famous quote—"The revolution is not yet successful; comrades still have much to strive for"—and encouraged everyone present to keep up their efforts in the current endeavor.

Next, everyone headed to the Zhongshan Office of Zhengyi for a visit and exchange. Afterwards, they moved on to Xiangshan Family Banquet for a lunchtime networking session. President Wang held a candid discussion with 10 young key personnel from the two Zhongshan offices, answering their questions and addressing their concerns. Drawing on their specific queries, he provided detailed guidance on how to integrate the “369” and “721” corporate culture into daily work and life. Meanwhile, other participants engaged in a brainstorming session and lively discussions centered around the company’s upcoming “Succession Plan and Development Program.”

In addition, we’ve expressed our sincerest gratitude to those instructors who, for various objective reasons, were unable to participate in this event or temporarily didn’t meet the eligibility requirements—by presenting them with generous corporate gift packages.
We pass on knowledge and dispel doubts, helping others achieve their potential. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our instructors, who consistently nurture “craftsmen” with “artisanal dedication,” tirelessly devoting their energy and passion to the company’s talent development and the inheritance of its corporate culture. As the saying goes, “One flower cannot make a spring; only when myriad flowers bloom does the garden burst into full springtime.” We look forward to seeing even more individuals in the future join our internal instructor team through efforts no less than those of anyone else, thereby expanding the ranks of participants in the company’s instructor appreciation tour. Together, we can continue to contribute to the company’s talent cultivation and high-quality development, working hand in hand for mutual success!
