Hoist the sails of management and forge a bright future for our generation. From December 8 to 10, 2023, more than 50 participants from the third cohort of reserve cadre training program carried out a three-day concluding series of activities. This concluding event consisted of four main components: a study tour to Zhongshan and Zhuhai, participants’ final project presentations, a closing ceremony, and a networking session with President Wang.

Looking back on more than a year of learning, this reserve cadre training program has conducted a total of six sessions, adopting a blended learning approach that combines field study tours with thematic training. To broaden participants’ horizons and elevate their perspectives, the program has taken them to experience a variety of activities, including golf, baseball, and curling. In terms of thematic training, a total of nine internal instructors and one externally hired instructor have generously shared their expertise, delivering a combined total of 12 courses. These courses cover essential theoretical knowledge, practical work skills and methodologies, organizational competencies, and personal development—all presented in a clear and accessible manner, packed with valuable insights that have greatly benefited the participants.

    [Zhongshan-Zhuhai Study Tour]

At 7:50 a.m. on December 8, all participants had assembled and departed by car for Zhongshan, firmly putting into practice the company’s philosophy of going abroad to broaden their horizons and engaging in a study tour to mark the completion of the program.

First stop: Yidian Zhongshan Office & Zhengyi Da Zhongshan Office

Led by their colleagues from the office, the trainees visited the Yidian Zhongshan Office and the Zhengyi Da Zhongshan Office in several groups. During this process, the trainees from the Reserve Cadre Training Class engaged in exchanges and learning with their office colleagues. Through these interactions, they gained insights into different working environments and operational approaches, as well as exposure to various work styles. As a result, at the conclusion of the training, the trainees once again deeply appreciated the power of communication and collaboration.

Stop 2: Sun Yat-sen’s Former Residence Memorial Hall

After having lunch, the participants headed together to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial House Museum. Led by a tour guide from the scenic area, they toured the places where Mr. Sun Yat-sen once lived, gaining insight into how he grew up and steadily achieved success. Then, inside the museum, they admired many “treasures” left behind by Sun Yat-sen—artifacts that chronicle the heroic deeds of Sun Yat-sen and other revolutionary martyrs.

During the visit, the trainees felt the spirit of the revolutionary martyrs and were deeply inspired by the red spirit of struggle. The classic quote by Mr. Sun Yat-sen—“The revolution is not yet successful; comrades still need to strive harder”—motivated the trainees to cultivate greater resilience in their future work and daily lives, and encouraged them to encourage each other as they move forward.

    Stop Three: Zhuhai Grand Theatre

In the evening, the trainees went to the Zhuhai Grand Theatre to watch the musical "Tang Palace Music Banquet." The performance showcased the ancient "Twenty-Four Musical Arts," in which musicians used a variety of instruments to present to the audience the quintessence of ancient music. At the same time, the show boldly incorporated modern Western instruments, making the performance even more engaging and visually captivating.

During the viewing process, the participants experienced the long-standing and profound cultural heritage of the Chinese nation, and their sense of cultural pride and belonging was strengthened.

    [Graduation Report & Ceremony Section]

From 1:30 p.m. on December 9 to 12:00 a.m. on December 10, the 51 participants delivered their final reports, covering 70% practical application, 20% exchange and discussion, and 10% theoretical learning. Drawing on their experiences and insights gained over the past year and more, they conducted case analyses that demonstrated how they had put what they learned into practice, reflected on their practical achievements, and shared their thoughts. Throughout the process, heads of various units were invited to join online as observers, enabling them to gain a better understanding of everyone’s learning and growth progress.

While congratulating all participants on successfully completing the program, they emphasized: “As the Buddha said, ‘Though it’s called completion, it’s not really completion—only in name is it completion.’” They urged everyone to maintain their enthusiasm for learning, take exemplary role models as their guide, and keep striving relentlessly toward their goals.

    [President Wang’s Exchange Segment]

From 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., we’ll hold the culminating event of this graduation series—the “Putting the ‘Three Six’ Culture into Practice: Embracing the Future and Driving Development” exchange meeting. This exchange meeting marks the third time, following the Reserve Cadre Training Program held in NanGuo TaoYuan, Foshan, and Heshan, Jiangmen, that we’ve been fortunate enough to welcome President Wang Zhenghu, founder of Charoen Pokphand Mechatronics, to the venue for on-site guidance.

(Behind-the-scenes highlights from the networking event)

President Wang shared his personal experiences with everyone, emphasizing the importance of consistently practicing the 369 & 721 culture and putting those who strive hard at the center of our efforts. Looking ahead, we will increase the income of frontline employees, boost their vitality, and inspire them to fully unleash their spirit of hard work and dedication. Finally, he addressed and clarified all the questions raised by everyone prior to the meeting.

Every chapter of the past is merely a prologue; a bright future begins with each step we take today. Thus, the concluding series of activities for the third cohort of reserve management trainees has come to a successful close. While graduation marks the end of this particular phase, it is by no means the end—it’s actually a brand-new starting point. We look forward to all our participants continuing to put forth efforts that are no less than those of anyone else, constantly honing their expertise, and creating even greater value for our clients, our company, and themselves. Let’s set off once again, stride boldly into the future, and build our dreams together!
