With the beginning of a new year, all things are renewed. From January 26 to 28, as we usher in the brand-new year 2024, the latest round of onboarding training for new employees at Zhengda Machinery and Electronics kicked off as scheduled. Forty-four fresh faces from various subsidiaries across the country gathered at our Foshan headquarters to embark on a three-day, two-night on-site training program. Filled with eagerness for knowledge and a strong pursuit of their dreams, these new recruits greeted this learning opportunity with great enthusiasm, ready to start a new chapter at Zhengda.
Following preliminary research and discussions, this training program has been comprehensively upgraded and is now divided into two major phases: online learning and on-site intensive training. The course content is tailored to meet the specific needs of different job roles, and the faculty boasts an impressive lineup of experienced instructors, striving to offer all participants a rich feast of knowledge exploration and experience sharing.

[Phase 1: Online Learning]
Two weeks before the official start of the in-person training, all participants had already begun self-study through an online training platform. The learning content focused primarily on corporate culture, institutional guidelines, and essential knowledge and skills, with the aim of helping participants quickly familiarize themselves with the company’s rules and regulations as well as relevant requirements. In addition, two exams were administered to help participants reinforce key points of knowledge and assess their level of mastery. Furthermore, by collecting stories and case studies from participants’ experiences since joining the company—stories that vividly reflect the company’s corporate culture—participants gained a deeper understanding of the true essence of the company’s cultural values.
[Phase 2: On-site Training]
On the morning of January 26, the 22 trainees from non-Foshan areas gathered first and headed to Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area—the famous landmark in Foshan—to experience Lingnan’s unique lion-dancing martial arts and Cantonese-style dim sum culture, helping newcomers better understand the culture of Guangzhou and Foshan.
Next, the trainees visited the headquarters’ logistics center, the Zero One Technology Park, and the office areas of various departments, gaining firsthand experience of the headquarters’ working environment and cultural atmosphere.

At 3:30 p.m., 44 participants gathered at the conference center on the fourth floor of Zero One Science and Technology Park. Although the temperature was rather low that day, it did not dampen everyone’s enthusiasm for learning in the slightest. Through ice-breaking group activities and team-based game competitions, participants quickly got to know and bond with one another. Meanwhile, they watched promotional videos about the company, further deepening their understanding of the corporate culture. To welcome all the participants, several senior leaders representing the company attended and joined the welcome dinner.

This on-site training session focuses primarily on courses covering corporate culture, experience transfer & knowledge-sharing sessions, and finance. At the same time, to put into practice the company’s corporate culture philosophy—“Work hard with joy, live a healthy and happy life”—all participants will join a morning run around the campus every day from 6:30 to 7:00 a.m., led by a pace setter. This morning run helps awaken every single cell in your body, enabling you to greet each new day with the best possible mental and physical energy.

Using a step-by-step, guided approach and drawing on pre-class questions, President Wang focused on core cultural principles such as the “369 Culture” and the “721 Learning Rule,” helping participants learn how to apply what they’ve learned effectively and tackle challenges in both their work and personal lives. At the same time, he encouraged the participants to remain humble at all times, continuously pursue learning and growth, and enhance their professional expertise—only then can they avoid being left behind by the market. Through lively exchanges and interactions, President Wang sparked deep and ongoing reflection among the participants. The participants unanimously expressed that they had greatly benefited from the session.

To help sales trainees clarify business processes and related financial policies, on the final day of the training, Chen Songwen, Deputy General Manager of the Finance Department, delivered a session titled “Professional Value Empowers Business.” Drawing on specific case studies, he explained the accounts receivable collection process, guidelines for litigation procedures, and methods for calculating late-payment penalties on overdue receivables and inventory. This session enabled participants to gain a deeper understanding of how to avoid overdue receivables and excess inventory, enhance their risk-awareness, and ensure the healthy circulation of cash flow.

Although the first-phase onboarding training for new employees in 2024 has successfully come to an end, this marks not an endpoint but rather a new starting point. We believe that once all participants return to their respective positions, they will quickly become proficient in their roles, embody the company’s corporate culture and spirit in both their work and personal lives, and continue to put forth efforts no less than anyone else’s—thereby creating even greater value for the company and for themselves!
