Welcome the New Year, Celebrate the New Year
As the New Year dawns, everything is renewed. On the ninth day of the first lunar month in the Year of Jia Chen—the Year of the Dragon (February 18, 2024)—Zhengda Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. officially resumed work. To welcome the arrival of the new year, the company held a series of live-streamed Spring Festival gatherings that morning, sending festive greetings and best wishes to all its colleagues and joyfully celebrating the auspicious start of the new year. The event was divided into two halves and was broadcast entirely via livestream, combining offline and online formats to extend New Year greetings and blessings to colleagues at branch offices across the country.
01 First half
At 7:20 a.m., the directors and general managers of all departments gathered in front of the main entrance on the first floor of the company to hand out “kai men li si”—lucky money for the new year—to their colleagues as they arrived one after another. Distributing “kai men li si” on the first day of work has long been a tradition at the company, symbolizing a fresh start and inspiring employees to embrace the spirit of the dragon and horse and strive for a year full of dynamism and prosperity. The scene was exceptionally lively, and colleagues watching the live stream online also enthusiastically sent New Year’s greetings via bullet comments.

At 7:58, all colleagues gathered on the 10th floor to kick off the first morning training session of the New Year. Colleagues from the branch offices outside also joined in via live stream, sharing in the lively atmosphere of the headquarters’ morning training. Lin Yi, Director and General Manager of Zero One Industry, delivered a New Year’s speech, encouraging everyone to muster up their energy and proceed steadily and surely in the coming year. Next came the most exciting red envelope-snatching segment, during which General Manager Lin led the general managers of various subordinate units in handing out red envelopes to everyone. The atmosphere instantly erupted into excitement, with everyone bursting into laughter and heartfelt wishes for each other, collectively wishing everyone an auspicious start to the year and success in all endeavors.

At 8:15, the tour to wish everyone a Happy New Year and extend blessings began. Our colleagues took the lead in heading to the office of Wang Zhenghu, President of CPMEC, to extend their New Year greetings and blessings to him. In return, President Wang also extended his warm New Year wishes to all employees. He then personally created a group chat and distributed WeChat red envelopes to everyone. Following President Wang’s lead, the “New Year Greeting Team” made its way through each floor, offering New Year greetings, handing out red envelopes, and spreading blessings. Throughout the visit, lively and enthusiastic cheers and well-wishes kept echoing from one floor to another. Colleagues enthusiastically shared that on this first day back to work, they could truly feel the rich New Year atmosphere through this special ceremony—and they felt deeply cared for and warmed by the CPMEC family.

Meanwhile, colleagues from the branch offices outside the headquarters have also kept pace with the home office, eagerly joining in the joy of sending blessings and grabbing red envelopes. They exchange heartfelt wishes and words of encouragement with one another, and a lively atmosphere permeates every corner.

02 Second Half
Time flies, and the years keep turning. With steadfast and determined strides, we’ve joined hands to step through the threshold of the New Year 2024!
At 8:50, accompanied by the host’s opening remarks and enthusiastic applause from the attendees, the second half of the 2024 Spring Festival Gala officially began. Leaders from Foshan headquarters once again gathered together in the main venue on the 4th floor, while branch offices outside also joined online via live stream, sharing joyfully their exciting and interesting stories and insights from the Spring Festival period.

First, General Lin delivered a New Year’s greeting to all employees. General Lin shared that he continues to maintain the habit of reading even during the Spring Festival, constantly enriching and improving himself. He also took everyone on a journey through the past year’s trials and tribulations, looked forward to an even grander future, and extended his best wishes to all. At the same time, he expressed his hope that, in the new year, every colleague will be more vigilant than ever when facing challenges, working closely together from top to bottom with unity and collaboration, and forging a healthier, higher-quality path amid steady progress.
Subsequently, the representatives present at the scene also took turns speaking, sharing their observations, experiences, reflections, and insights from the Spring Festival period. Everyone was eager to observe, delighted to ponder, and enthusiastic about sharing the fascinating and memorable moments they’d encountered during the Spring Festival activities. They drew wisdom and profound insights from these experiences, inspiring others to celebrate the Spring Festival in ways that are more beneficial to both body and mind.

Next, in his New Year’s address, President Wang pointed out that, in the face of increasingly fierce market competition, to ensure stable and sound business operations, we must consistently uphold the guiding principles of putting customers first, valuing those who strive hard, engaging in long-term, arduous efforts, and practicing self-criticism. We should focus on identifying and serving high-quality customers, prioritize the promotion of promising young talents, and strive for development within stability while seeking stability through development.
Finally, we connected live with colleagues from our various branches to hear their stories from the Spring Festival period, learn about the diverse local customs surrounding the Chinese New Year, and together experience the rich and colorful culture of China’s Spring Festival. Although we’re physically apart, we can still feel the festive atmosphere from each branch and sense the fresh, energetic spirit of our colleagues. In the new year, Zhengren will continue, as always, to pull together as one, give our all, and bravely strive for even greater heights!
